I liked the 'stick' I was using but not enough Power. This Shark is a nice in-between the stick and a Full Upright. Powerful suction and cool lift away with handle, but also has that necessary swivel navigation availability around and under things. It actually might be too powerful as It can be hard to move on thick carpet. It is extremely handy that the brush can be turned on or off as needed. Off is recommended for hard floors. Super Easy to Empty. Good Price.

My wife wanted something that could pick up the dog hair better than our old vacuum. They let us try this out at the store, and we liked the features. We came home and she immediately tried it out. She vacuumed the entire house (about 1000 square feet) and had to empty the container three times because it filled up so much with dog hair. I couldn't believe how much stuff it could get that our other one couldn't.

This vacuum fits my needs perfectly. Its light weight and does great picking up dirt. It even picks up pet hair. You can't beat it for the price.

Looking for a light weight and powerful vacuum for my house with pets. This allows me to easily move about and change attachments.

I am disabled and have very little strength. I love doing my own housework and with this vacuum I am able to vacuum with no problem. My caregiver loved it so much she had to buy one for her house.

Wish I had purchased the powered lift-away but this one is still great. The cord could be longer. Suction is better then older Shark.

We have not used this new vacuum a lot but it is working very well and we like the ease of use. My only complaint is that it is a bit heavy to drag up and down the stairs.

This would be ok for an apartment or as an extra vacuum in a home. It is powerful enough but the dustbin is small and difficult plus messy to empty, Stuff gets stuck in the dustbin and I end up having to reach in to get things out, Generally would not recommend due to the annoying dustbin. I prev had a diff Shark that I liked, I thinj that dust bin was more one open bin. I got this on sale for $99. Would not pay more for this.
