I bought this for my 2 bed apartment and it's perfect. Great sauction power which even cleans up hair from the carpet/floor. Detachable section is useful to carry and clean corners where it's difficult to reach. I wish they can give a bit longer power cable but it's at least reach to 2 room right now.

Typical Shark, although it does not have as much suction power as some of their other models - which could be a good thing depending on the type of rug you are using it on. The only annoyances with this model are: the short cord (the others seem to be a good length) and the vacuum path is smaller than others. This may be something that would be a pro for others, depending on what you have to vacuum :)

This vacuum has great suction and is very light and maneuverable. Well worth it.

I thought I had a great vacuum. Somehow it got burned out (random dog toy). Anyway, I chose this one after plenty of research. It is fantastic! So much power. And I like that a simple flip of the switch takes me from carpet to hardwood. My carpet looks nearly new again.

Has great suction. We recently switched to Shark and are very happy with it.

I bought the shark for myself 10 years ago and now I am just replacing it again it is an awesome and the best picking up machine I've ever seen I hope I never lose this one

Ok, cleans very well, but heavier than expected. Suction is too strong and lifts loose rugs even when adjusted. Dirt container and foam filters very difficult to keep clean. I consider it average but hope the reliability is good for the months to come.

Wow! This thing is amazing! I now know just how crappy my old vacuum cleaner was. Unbelievable how well it sucks up dirt! The pet brush is awesome too! The carpeting on the stairs rarely gets cleaned because it was such a hassle with my old vacuum cleaner but with the pet brush it was a breeze!

After extensive research I was all set to get a stick vacuum until I spoke with the sales rep. This turned out to be a big bang for my buck. Its lighter then my previous vacuum and maneuvers much better. With to children under 5 this is a must for apartment living.

I bought this vacuum cleaner for my elderly Mom. She is very independent & the old vacuum she was using was to heavy & difficult for her to move. She was surprised & amazed at how lightweight it is and does have great cleaning ability.

I couldn't believe how much dirt and pet hair my old vacuum left behind! Very easy to empty the canister, It is narrower then some vacuums, which makes it easy to get in smaller spaces. Easy to detach for cleaning furniture and it quiet to run.

Overall this vacuum cleaner is a good buy. It works well on carpets, is lightweight, compact, and has some nice attachments. However, even when broken down into the hand-held unit, it is a little too heavy for cleaning carpet on stairs. We need to buy a second unit to do that.
