The reason why I deducted two stars is 1. The upright vacuum has weak suction. The attachments have great suction no complaints there, but not the regular upright vacuum. 2. The attachments are not long enough. The vacuum tips over almost everytime I use the extensions/attachments because it pulls on the rest of the vacuum when I try to reach high areas or across wide surfaces. It's a pain. 3. The vacuum releases hot air when it's on (around the filter area). The vacuum is a little heavy for me (but I'm a small woman), so add the weight plus the hot air it releases and by the time I'm done I'm sweating as if I just finished a workout. I've learned to turn on the AC on high before I start vacuuming to help my apartment keep cool. I kept it because it's a hassle for me to return it. Plus, I really do like the suction of the attachments.
