    Brought this for a Mother’s day gift and was really disappointed. We mainly tested this vacuum on carpet and rugs and while it did pick up a lot of dirt and dust, it was terrible to push around. It was easier on very thin rugs, but since there is no height adjuster it gets significantly harder on thicker carpet. You will struggle, with or without the brush roller function. Dont risk it, unless you are only using it for wood/ harder floors. Other reviews mentioned the same problem.

    So far works well but we had to exchange the previous vacuum because rollers stopped working. Hope this one works longer
