Way too hard to push on carpeting and rugs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my second Shark vacuum, and, although it is similar in design to my first (NV351) it is much harder to push on carpeting and rugs. I've had several Shark / Ninja products and admire their value, but this is just too hard to push. If you're looking for a work out from your vacuum and have carpet, this model is the one for you. Wish I could have returned the item, but the Best Buy return policy is only 15 days.

Terrible

There are no settings to change it from hardwood to carpet, just a suction adjuster that does not work well. It also did not pick up everything on the hardwood floor. Too heavy to push on the carpet when the suction control is set to carpet. I bought this at Best Buy for my new home and it only had a 14 day return. By the time I first used it, it was too late to return it. I am out $180 and stuck with a vacuum I can't use. I wish Best Buy would take this vacuum back. I used it twice and will not be able to use it again with any success.

HEAVY VACUUM

Don't buy.

Doesn’t handle plush carpet very well

Disappointed because the description indicates it handles high pile carpet. I’m sure it’s a fine vacuum, but not for high pile carpet.

Look elsewhere for a vacuum

Suction decrease quickly, the top handle ended up loose. This thing is just a mess. Luckily I put the protection plan on it which Best Buy makes it soooo easy to cash in. I literally walked into the store with my vacuum (no box, no receipt, nothing) and they hand me a gift card for what I paid for the vacuum.

It worked wonderfully, the first three times I used it. I wanted to vacuum yesterday, and the spinning brush didn't work and there was no suction. I rinsed and dried the filter, and checked for obstructions. No luck. My son-in-law will be checking it tonight; if he can't find the issue, I am returning it. I had high hopes for this machine, but ended up disappointed.
