This is the best vacuum I've ever owned. Suction is awesome, it's small footprint makes it easy to maneuver, it's simple to empty and the lift away option makes it great for cleaning ceiling fans and blinds. The only drawback is it needs emptying often.

This is my first Shark vacuum and so far I am very pleased. My old Hoover was just too heavy to maneuver and carry up and down the stairs and this is a lot more light weight because you can lift off the canister. I was amazed at how strong the suction was but the down side is I am a little concerned about having to take it apart to clean the the filter frequently. I think I will be happy wiith it.

I've had other vacuums in the past, but this one is by far the lightest for the power it has. We cleaned the carpet in our room and it pulled out way more than we had imagined it could. The bin was full of so much dust and other things that were visible with the naked eye. Very happy with the purchase.

This unit is less than half the weight of my old vacuum cleaner. It has as much, if not more, suction power, and it negotiates turns so much better. The only downside for me is having to check the manual every time I want to change the unit's configuration (e.g., from floor to stairs to underbed vacuuming).

I was trying to decide between 2 different brands, but the other reviews on this Shark model convinced me to pull the trigger - and it's been great! Not only are the different attachments actually useful, but the modular ability of the vacuum is so valuable when storage space is at a premium. The suction is nice and strong, and the cannister is easy to empty and clean. Thumbs up, Shark!

Purchased on a great Black Friday sale. This shark is awesome. The power is great! Was very easy to put together. Handy attachments and super easy to use the hose and lift away. Fabulous for cleaning ceiling fans Think I’m going to love this model as much as my last shark.

This vacuum pulls up a lot of dirt. My only concern is that it does not come with some of the attachments that would allows for flexibility of usage or that would give access to tight spaces or difficult to reach spaces.

I've been super pleased with this vacuum! Its a great size- I can do our bathrooms easily with it. It does a great job on our carpet picking up the dog/cat hair & dust/crumbs. Been happy with the job it does on our vinyl floors as well. Love the attachments. This is my first shark vacuum- would buy again.

I read all the reviews first and that was probably my downfall. I had super high expectations with two hairy dogs and it works pretty good, but not as great as I expected. I had to empty it a million times which is good because it picks up a lot but super annoying because the tank is small. It took a lot longer to vacuum because of this. But overall it's a good vacuum.

This thing works so much better than our older bagged upright vacuum. I had just used it several days before we bought the Shark, and then the shark pulled two tanks’ worth of dust out of our “clean” carpet. It’s also light and maneuvers extremely well. Very highly recommended.

Had a Dyson and switched to this because of the price. I've used it three or four times now and it does a great job. It's also very easy to switch to a shop style vacuum for stairs. I'm glad I chose this one and would purchase it again.

We have recently had 2 Dyson vacuums and both of them broke within a short time. The second was a refurbished model and I don't think it lasted 3 months. The Shark is easy to handle and you can take the canister off to do the steps. It cleans well and is light. If it lasts it will become my new favorite.

Just a few weeks with it so far, but so far so good. We seem to beat on vacuums - so I was interested in a purchase that would last. It is lighter than I expected, easy to move around while using it. Most important point- the wife is very happy.

I've used lots of vacuum cleaners in my life, but this is by far the best in every aspect. It gets the dirt out of the carpet, it does amazingly well on hard surfaces, it REALLY filters the dirt (so the house is less dusty), and it is relatively quite compared to most vacuums.

my shark is the best purchase I have ever made and I am confident in saying I have never owned a"good" vacuum before now! I am amazed by the suction, ease of use and by far my favorite part is the extra chamber for large items! Having young children I need a vacuum that can keep up and this vacuum does that and more!

Good suction and eay to maneuver. Handles both carpet and bare floors very well

This vacuum has good suction and is very lightweight. I bought this one for 150. I wish I would have spent the extra money and got the one with Zero-M technology, the Zero-M tech really works. Very minimal hairs get caught in the brush so you don’t have to spend 15 minutes cleaning the brush after you vacuum every time.

This is a nice vacuum. It's easy to use and it does a good job of cleaning the rugs. My rugs are clean, how are yours? There's also a nice feature that will suck crap up on bare floors, which is nice.

This vacuum has great suckshion (haha j/k) suction. The included attachments make it very versatile, allowing one to clean even under refrigerators! My house has carpeted stairs, and using the powered (pet) brush makes it much easier than with my previous vacuum. It was well worth the price I paid ($160).

Easy to assemble and works great , the cord is long enough to do an entire room without needing to move the plug.
