Customers are saying
Customers are delighted by the ease of use, the included keyboard, and the tablet's size. Many appreciate the affordable price and find the performance adequate for their needs. However, some customers note that the weight of the device is a drawback, and the limited storage capacity is a concern for some users. The smaller amount of RAM available is also mentioned as a potential limitation.

Good for web surfing and MS Office
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tablet doesn't have a lot of memory available, especially after you get MS Office, but if that is all you need it for, then this is the tablet for you. It is nice and small which helps if you need to use it for school, which is what I got it for. The battery life is decent, although I learned the hard way to remember to keep it charging, otherwise, the battery dies (maybe that was common sense and I didn't realize). The wi-fi works well, as I have used this at hotels and other places.

Good tablet if you find the right deal on it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All of the reviews I read about this were pretty much spot on. Its shortcoming in the internal space available, so make sure and get some add on storage. If you can leverage one drive or other cloud storage it helps. The hardware itself has not had any issues in the 3 months I have had it. An occasional display issue, but nothing repeatable. I installed the MS Office suite and it handles that just fine. This is not a gaming tablet. As always, shop around. I saved about $30 at BB getting at Xmas.

Don't expect too much, and you'll enjoy it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With these specs, don't expect a powerhouse. However, if you want a basic windows machine for browsing, research, and other light tasks, this may fit the bill (though you may want to wait for a price around $100). Buy a screen protector, though. The keyboard will leave scuffs on the screen when folded up. Also, you're definitely gonna need an SD card. The storage is barely sufficient for windows itself. If you can compromise on the above, it's worth it.

Great Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for the price I paid (on sale at $129.99) Start up is quick and is as fast as my desk top. Not lightening speed but not horribly slow either. I added a wireless mouse and that turns it into a practical computer. I can do anything on it I can do on my desktop. Glad I bought it especially at the price I paid.

Decent performer for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tablet does well for the price, but it will not handle taxing applications. I installed a third-party anti-virus software, which caused the tablet to run very slow. I stuck with the installed Windows anti-virus and the tablet runs much better. The quality is a little lower than average (the screen is scratched going in and out of the keyboard dock), but the price is low.

Gift for the kid
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my kid to do homework. I like that I can set website and screen time restrictions. I wouldn't get one for myself since it's slower than my current, older laptop. For the price, it's a good first laptop/tablet for a 3rd grader.

Great for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for everyday use. It's a little slow at times but not bad. For $199 it's great for someone on a budget.

Great Price and utility for a lower-end tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Major point: the Insignia is nifty, speedy, and flexible; it has some problems, but Best Buy stands by its product with no hassles. We needed to buy an inexpensive but reliable tablet-keyboard for a limited purpose, because a database program indispensable to our business was only written for Microsoft OS and not for Mac OSX. (Furthermore we had to stop using the Parallels for Mac program for this one MS program because after exhaustive tweaking, it still slowed everything down on our iMac.) We were pleased with this tablet-keyboard. It's nice to have a touch screen on a speedy little tablet that detaches from the keyboard. There are a few problems: 1. The touch pad works but feels "clunky" and requires too much work, especially when one is clicking. Also not good for someone with arthritic hands or for an older person with wear-and-tear arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome. Our solution? An optical bluetooth Logitech mouse bought from Best Buy. 2. The wifi adaptor on the table simply stopped working after 6 months. A store-based Best Buy Geek Squad techie verified the problem, honored the 1 year warranty and in three days we had a new replacement model mailed to our house at no charge. Recommendation: always, always, always purchase a mini-SD card for the tablet (unless you want to save your work in the "cloud"). But whatever you do, save, save, save your work on that card or in the cloud, in case the system ever crashes. We bought the inexpensive card and are happy we had could insert that little backup card into the database and reinstall the data into the database program on the new laptop.

Nice 2-in-1 tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seems like a good product, only had it a few weeks but so far so good. A thing I like about it is that the cable to charge it is the same as most cell phones, so you do not have to worry about more cords everywhere. The keyboard attaches nicely, it is magnetic. One thing I wasn't prepared for was how heavy this thing is, but I have gotten used to it.

Good for casual users
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would not recommend this tablet to anyone who needs to do more than basic tasks. It doesn't have enough onboard storage to update Windows 10. It doesn't have any extra software included. It isn't bamboo pen enabled and can only use the fat-tip type of stylus. The included detachable keyboard and touchpad are glitchy. All the problems you have been experiencing with the Windows 10 interface will only be worse on this tablet. Scrolling and any other gesture based navigation are non-existent. On the plus side, this tablet is very inexpensive. But you get what you pay for.

Good for occasional use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my dieing laptop. I needed a "computer" to access the Internet. Processor is slow, delayed response. If you are in a hurry or impatient, I don't recommend. If you just need something to use on occasion, this works perfect for the price

A great deal for the price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While this isn't really a laptop replacement, for a tablet running a FULL version of Windows 10 it isn't bad at all. If you plan on running anything more than the built-in or web-based apps, you will need external storage of some kind. In my case that was a 1228GB microSD card that works flawlessly.

Very surprised!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Couldn’t pass this up when it was on sale for $109! Had to do some research to see “what was wrong” with it...not a thing! Touch screen works great, keyboard is actually heavier than the tablet. I’m 100% Apple but this fills a small form factor Windows void for a couple hobbies where bringing my MacBook running Parallels isn’t convenient.
