This laptop was replacing a rather aged but loved laptop. I was concerned about having to figure out all the bells and whistles laptops come with so my last purchase but this laptop was very user friendly. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Cataclysmic failure of a similar-spec laptop's screen made an affordable replacement an urgent need. This HP model fit the bill perfectly, and was available at an attractive price to boot! Exactly what my daughter needed, and at a sufficient saving that I decided to get a printer for her too!

Although still in the process of getting familiar with this laptop, I am very pleased with my understanding of the characters that serve my needs. I am anxious to learn more about this opportunity to utilize all the "new" opportunities. Have always received excellent "assistance from Best Buy.

Setup and use of this laptop was fairly easy. Responsive and very good battery life. Holds a charge well and navigates between apps and programs pretty quickly. Some slowing with multiple apps, internet and or programs running. Nice for the price paid.

I bought this almost two years ago to run the music studio software I had purchased and have never had any problems with it works great all around and has everything I need and then some product shipped to my door fast and without a problem from Best Buy

Prefer Dell products; but this was value for the price so purchased. Been wonderful so far. Use for school and home. Is fast, but not high speed gaming fast. Meets my needs. Replaced a clunky all in one desk top that was just slow. Good sound, good picture, and like the touch screen.

The laptop is a bit slow to finish startup. I think, due to the system overhead and the slow spindle - 5400 rpm - drive.

I began my career as a computer owner in 2001 with a Dell desktop. in 2012 I changed to an HP Laptop and have never been disappointed! This purchase was my second for a laptop and HP printer. I love the convenience of the scanner, printer and fax features. Thank you HP!

I have had this almost a year with no problems. I had always previously had dell computers but wasn't happy with the last one it croaked after only 2 years with a flashing screen. I thought I would try a HP on my daughters recommendation and so far so good.

I don't need a super fast computer. I don't watch movies on this machine nor do I play games on it. This is great for social communication, business and an occasional shopping spree so I'm happy with it. My cats broke my last computer.

Have only had for a month but works well for basic computer functions. I've even set this up as a laptop/desktop and like it even more because of that. Had to buy a couple of extra parts but not much for that functionality.

So far I have found this machine to be the best for doing some minimal activities like mail, reading content, installing some important apps etc. Haven't used for watching but I would certainly recommend this for simple things.

The only real issue is the crappy operating sys! (windows 10 sux!) I get so tired of the repetitious demand to "update the windows operating system; Very annoying! I am thinking of switching to Linux Otherwise the HP touch-screen is very nice

The computer does every thing needed. I'm still getting use to some programs that I'm not familiar with. The only thing I don't like (as with most products these days), is it does not come with a hard copy owners manual. Other then that, It's great!!

this laptop works well for me other than the fact that I was told it has a the bluetooth function that would allow me to use my iphone hotspot to connect to the internet when wifi isn't available. It does not.

Thus laptop is the perfect size, fast processor, and the speakers on it actually have good sound unlike my laptop before this one. Great laptop for someone who needs a good computer for school on a budget.

My main laptop is a 17" i5 7th gen Intel HP, but I got this as a lightweight laptop for occasional outside use. I'd rather have a nice i5 or i7, but for note taking and basic light tasks, this works perfectly fine.

This is wasn't my first choice but my other PC died! I loaded my software without any problems. Had a few problems getting rid of the pre-installed games and virus checkers. Still need to test speed and such.

okay so I am partial to hp laptops. last one was 3 years old and served me well. but it only had 4 gigs of ram and win 10 hogs ram./ this sure is a lot faster and doesn't freeze even with 10 tabs open.. it has enough ports for my purposes

I am enjoying this product. It is light-weight and durable. If you open it on your lap, it will pinch your legs, which took it to 4 stars. My 3-year-old stood on the closed laptop and it has lived!
