Typical cheap laptop. Works well for office work, but it will randomly get super slow and make me want to throw it out of the window. Overall, it gets the job done.

This computer has decent memory, good screen size but it is really slow. It freezes often and has to be hard reset. Not sure if that is a defect with the computer or just bad performance.

Just a very underpowered laptop. Great for the price, but you'll be frustrated with the reaponsiveness.

Computer stop working after 3 days. Only would get a blank screen. However, customer service was great. Received a new computer immediately. Waiting to see how this one works.

Not sure, really. Having trouble with keystrokes in Excel, but will try other programs today. Sorry, memory problems so I can't remember if I had issues with other ones.

I had HP laptop earlier. So had preferred HP over Lenovo. It works just fine for home use. However with i3-8th Gen and 8 GB RAM, expected much better performance!

My other HP which was only 2 years old was broke, (the screen was coming apart from the keyboard) so I ordered this HP. My other HP was slow so I was glad that I would have a new computer because it would be faster, but it is slower than my old one. I am very disappointed. I guess you get what you paid for. It is very frustrating.

We use this computer for very basic tasks (like internet shopping) and that’s pretty much what it’s good for. It’s not the fastest but it gets the job done.

I've owned 2 HP laptops in the past before this one, both Pavillion and worth over $1,000 when bought new. You do really notice the performance in the price change. We got our house broken into and my mother who is a single mom, didn't want to buy new TVs, Gaming Consoles(PS4s), and other stuff that got stolen again. Would cost her a lot of money. I went ahead and surprised my brothers and her with new electronics on Christmas! I bought this computer for myself for College early in August and man is it exaggeratingly slow! The setup was slow itself, the wifi couldn't even be detected for a a few mins! I also only had 3 applications installed, Chrome, Spotify, and Microsoft Word! Has 1TB of storage and still performed bad! Had to do a full reset to see if anything improves and still the same! If you're guessing this laptop is a steal, it's not! Very poorly made! Better off buying something more expensive! HP quality is crap unless you're willing to put up more money! Very disappointing!

This computer touch screen has been a problem form the start and too many times have to reboot the computer.

Used to own a $1K+ HP Laptop for 3 years. Sadly it got stolen and had to buy something ASAP for College last Fall. I have owned HP products ever since I bought an HP laptop 7 years ago. Keyboards, Mouses, and Printers. Quality just isn’t there anymore unless you want to buy the high end models. As mentioned earlier, I bought this for college and started using it for the Fall(August) semester of last year. Meaning it hasn’t even been year of me owning it! It was super slow on my first week of using and even the setup was the same experience! It’s definitely not my wifi since I did speed tests on multiple devices and all showed high speeds. Another interesting thing is that I only downloaded Spotify, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Office programs for college work. I went through the settings and fiddled around with the control panel, command prompt, etc. Thing is still slow! Had no choice but to reset the computer to factory settings and set it up again and now it’s still slow with only Chrome installed! Should’ve kept my GeekSquad warranty for full refund. Will be taking the laptop to my nearby store to ship it out for Factory Warranty Services. Very disappointed.

Good laptop in the cheaper laptops section. There is some problem with the sound but apart from that things worked as expected
