Purchased in local Best Buy and received amazing help in selection of computer for my needs. Previously had an expensive Asus with more features which I didn't use. The speed is okay; startup and shutdown are quick. The only negative thing is that it has a cheap plastic case. It is a good computer for the price!

I have really enjoyed this computer. It’s been my first laptop purchase because I needed something portable doing online classes. It’s fast and comes with a lot of great add-ons that have been useful in getting started with school! They also have a “read aloud” feature which I’ve loved for my online books and lectures. It’s also really fast and easy to use!

I would have given this laptop a 5 star rating since it has so many great feaures for the sale price that I paid. But the first machine that I received had a defect that caused the screen to flicker every 4 or 5 secondes especially when it was under a heavier video load. I returned it after 2 days for an even exchange (no problem for Best Buy to do that) and got a new one. This one works great!! I figure I just got a lemon the first time. I'm very happy with this laptop. It has a lot of bang for the bucks at under $400.00 on sale.

I got this laptop to replace an older laptop. This has a decent processor, memory (8 gigs) and 1 TB hard drive. This is a good laptop for surfing the web and do other non gaming intensive work. I recommend this if you are looking for a no frills and decently priced laptop. A good started laptop as well.

Didn't want a touch screen, but wife thought it would be nice and I would be glad I got it. As usual, she nailed it. Prepared my first power point with ease. Presentation great. Computer links up well with mouse and laser presenter.

This is my first laptop. It has taken some getting use to, but I find it very useful and easy to use. I am pleased with my first laptop purchase and cannot think of a better item to purchase than an HP product. I am 82 and have not yet been able to get the training needed for using this item, but I hope to get instructions in the near future.

Since I ever bought a macbook pro in 2010, this laptop is first new window notebook. I feel very content with its size, weight, speed, and storage, nearly everything. One minor thing is when it is awake from sleep mode, a bit weird- once in a while. But after all I don't feel I wasted money for it. Thank you for the Memorial Day Sale.

I purchased this laptop to replace one that crashed. It has the things I require, DVD, web cam, media slot, touch screen and enhanced keyboard. My only initial concern was the processor was only Intel Core 13, 8th generation while my other laptop was Intel Core 15. The HP did great when compared to the other laptop. No complaints.

I got Geek squad but they didn't transfer from my old computer and I have spent much time getting the things I wanted on this computer. The computer itself works well and is lots faster than my old one and I like it well but miss the older version of Microsoft. I don't care for 10.

excellent computer for the price, the touch screen is really a bonus. i have owned a few HP's and have never had any problems, I'm not mister computer savvy and as most newer toys this walks you through most any application. the resolution, color and brightness is excellent, even when unplugged and working just off of the battery

I wanted to upgrade to Windows 10 with a newer lightweight pc and a low price point so this pc was the best choice...I am not that savvy with technology but this was easy to setup immediately...very happy with my purchase.
