The compact size of this laptop is easy to carry and work with on my desk. The picture is very clear and easy to read, color is great.

Great laptop! This is my second HP laptop in 20 years. They always last well

Even though Best Buy Geek said it's an "aesthetic" problem, I think it's pathetic. The LT is only ONE month old and already the left "mouse" button is caved in. How does that happen? Whatever was under the button is now gone. But since it still works, because the right side of the button still works,, it's not considered a defect and doesn't qualify for a warranty fix. Even if it did, just found out it would take 3 weeks to get it fixed and returned to me. 1 week to ship to HP 1 week to fix 1 week to ship back to Best Buy. So, my life would be on hold 3 weeks. How does a person function without a LT for 3 weeks - NOT work, pay bills, send/receive emails, etc.? Live and learn the hard way . . . when your LT crashes, you have to buy 2 new Laptops. 1st one to use till it breaks one month later and the 2nd one to use while the 1st new one is being repaired. Kind of expensive.

This laptop is being used for family finances, budgets, etc. and it's perfect.

I am very happy with rhe i5 and i7s. They are quick and makes this a great laptop.

I bought this HP laptop during cyber monday for $399. I thought this was a good price for a new laptop with 8GB of RAM and 1 TB Hard Drive. After initial setup it was incredibly slow to open applications and even web pages. I sat right next to my router box so the signal was not an issue at all. I did all the updates within the first 2 days of trying it out and uninstalled any "bloatware" or unneeded programs like all the message boards say if you are trying to make a newer laptop faster. Even after all of this, it was running full minutes slower than my 11 year old MacBook. The final straw was when I decided to take it back for a refund and when trying to go to Settings to reset it to factory settings the laptop froze up and restarted. When I clicked on Settings to try again, it took 7 minutes just to open the settings screen. Even at $399 there is no reason the customer should have to essentially operate on a brand new piece of equipment right out of the box just to make it perform as it should. I had to do this same thing with a Lenovo from Bestbuy a couple of years ago and figured it was just a lemon, but it looks like I'll just have to dole out $1,000 for another Macbook soon. If nothing else at least I know it will last around a decade without all this BS.

This is a great laptop for everyday use for reports and email. No complaints yet.

Great laptop, comfortable keyboard, numbers and characters where I like them.

The computer is good for minimum use. Surf the web, personal accounting, etc.
