Got two of these for my twin 8 year olds for Christmas to play games on. They were using iPads before. These work great and they haven’t had any problems.

This was definitely an upgrade from my old Toshiba satellite loaded with Vista. The touch screen definitely cuts some time off traditional laptop tasks

Good buy, touch screen for low money. You don't get the processing speed, but you get a decent laptop.

the laptop really works well - fast processor . downside is windows 10 - not the easiest to use.

HP did a good job with this one. Fast enough for reasonable performance with an i5 and non SSD.

I'm not a gamer, nor a programmer. My needs in a computer are relatively basic functions, but I appreciate dependability and durability. When shopping for a new laptop I wanted one with a numeric keypad, a CD/DVD drive built in and improved memory capacity: check, check, and check. Moderate cost: check. Immediate availabilty: check. Sold! Took it home that evening and began loading desired programs - some were already loaded - bonus.

The HP 15.6" computer is a sophisticated machine that is a very capable platform. Screen is nice and the on-board sound is adequate if not better than adequate. However, the mouse pad is unusually sensitive and at times. makes operation frustrating if not infuriating. Cost if reasonable for what you get, but you get what you pay for. If you're able, consider an Apple...they are just better machines.

This was for my 13 old son. He wanted a laptop for school and to play games. He loves it so far!

I am an IT student who needs a laptop for school. This one has enough power and speed to run my practice modules through, which was its intended use.

I had to buy a new laptop to tote around for college and the laptop I found is perfect! I love it and its way thinner and faster than my last HP. I love it.

Bought this for my daughter. Very lightweight and easy to use. Touch screen is a nice added feature. Very nice clear screen. Keyboard does not light up.

It does what we expected it to do. The charge does not last as long as I had hoped or expected

Being cautious I did a spread sheet analysis of customer ratings when 275 reviews were showing. Best buys recap of average rating of 4.3 was exactly accurate. However, my analysis showed that 98% of the customers would recommended this PC to a friend. My analysis was pretty careful and I only missed recapping one rating. Therefore, I believe this is a solid PC for the average user who is basically a non gamer -- as it does not have a separate high speed video card. It seems to be a reasonably safe purchase. You can upgrade to Solid State hard drive and double the ram later.

This was a purchase for one of our supervisors. Does the job well! Fast and full of memory.

Windows 10 is a little hard to adjust to but overall this is a nice computer for the price.

Needed a replacement computer. I use this computer for basic internet searches (limited streaming) and Office Suite applications. The touch screen is great.

Overall great laptop. Mouse keys are very loud and would have liked a longer lasting battery.
