Have had this laptop for awhile and it was a worthwhile purchase. Bought this for a family member and it has lived up to expectations. Have always like HP and this laptop delivers for the price. Would buy again just wish it had a backlit keyboard

Don't waste your money like I did. This is the slowest computer I have ever used! Way slower than any machine running windows 95 at its worst. Don't buy! I wish I could return it but I am way past the return date. I wish I had tested it out right away but I have never had problems with windows or hp in the past. Words cannot express how much I despise this thing. My older computer is an hp laptop running windows 7 and runs circles around this sloth. I bought this because I wanted a more modern, faster machine but now I end up using my old hp running win 7 because this computer is totally unusable. You have been warned... Don't buy!!

I've had this laptop for over a month now and wonder why I didn't purchase this sooner. The reviews online describe problems that I have yet to experience. Those that say this laptop doesn't connect to home Wi-Fi need only upgrade their router. I have a new AC type router and this laptop connected immediately to my home Wi-Fi upon initial startup. Easy to use and fun to work with. Thanks HP.

Bought this as a gift to my wife. As soon as i brought it home she instantly had to try it out. Setup was easy and the touchscreen surprisingly works well. I didn't think the screen would respond to my finger due to rough hands and callous but it does flawlessly.

I was really trying to find an inexpensive laptop for freshman in college. Nowadays, kids want a tablet but it's good to know professors still use cds for classwork. So we needed a cd drive. Overall, good speed, enough memory and price could've been just a little less. Niece was happy.
