I bought this computer for my Grandpa. This is his first computer. He has never really used any technology aside from his Tv. He had a little trouble with the touch pad at first. He was using two fingers instead of one. He also love the Cortna feature. He likes to talk to the computer and tell it what to do.

I have been very pleased with the functionality and performance of this laptop. It is the second HP laptop that I have owned and I continue to by happy with the HP brand of products. I would buy this laptop again.

The good part, I good a discount from the manager (for other unrelated issue). also got good advice on the product. Easy to start,nice color. Now the bad part, For an i5 it was very slow. It frost twice, got the blue screen of dead twice & the DVD tray did not want to open & after several attempts it finally did open, also did not like the finish on the edges. I fell that for a new loptop there were too many issues! I pay for a brand new loptop in good working condition & what I got was headaches. So after 6 or7 days I returned to the store w/no problem! Will I buy another loptop from Best Buy or HP, yes I will!

This laptop has all essential configuration required for a student. But the harddrive is too slow, SSD is recommended with it. Also the body of laptop is not strong enough. It looks like, they have used low quality casing.

Tried my best to like this product for its price and specs, but after spending a week on it, it constantly freezes, it's slow. A reminder that low priced laptops are really underperforming even for the most basic uses.

Great laptop for a student. Does everything well. Decent amount of memory and large enough hard drive to support the basic student. Not for the hard core computer user but good enough for the avg gamer/web browser.

For some odd reason, at times when I use the arrow keys, the cursor jumps up the screen to previous text. By the time I notice the flaw, it's too late as I am then typing in a previous sentence or paragraph. This results in making too many fixes and a lot of time lost. I hope it's only a "flaw" with mine as I depend on the laptop to get me through the workday. I guess I'll be spending Saturday afternoon at Best Buy. Oh, by the way, it was only 104 degrees today so it will be hot getting there!!

I bought this computer for my sister as replacement for her old Toshiba. It has fast processor, plenty of memory and a hard drive space. So far I found one disadvantage - wireless connection does not cover AC type.

We bought this for an older friend and it does the job. The touchpad is a little sensitive, so we had to slow it down a little. We were able to transfer all content easily and the laptop didn't have any issues.

This has great response time for surfing and normal internet usage but I disliked the touch screen/pad combo. The screen touch was difficult to pinpoint what you wanted, and I thought mouse pad built in was "sticky"...

I have never had the problems with any other computer I have bought like I have had with this one. This computer is less than six months old and I'm already on the 3rd one. It regularly freezes up to where I can't do anything and if I try to reboot it, it won't even load up to get me to the sign on screen. I have contacted Best Buy and HP for help with this mess and I haven't gotten anywhere. I am behind two assignments in school because I don't have a working, brand new computer!

Laptop works great for basic usage. Great for web browsing, email, social media etc....not great for many games. Once my son started playing some games on it...it really started to slow down.

Didn't initially want to spend so much on a replacement laptop, but after some research found that this was relatively cheap! I opted for the i5 7th gen processor over the i3 thinking it wouldn't become obsolete as fast! More than enough power and speed for the things I do. So far so good!

Bought this for my wife to replace her Samsung laptop. So far so good. Light and compact. The touch screen is very responsive. She uses it for college and is very pleased with it. It's not the fastest or the best but I think if your looking for a middle of the road machine, this will do just fine.

This is officially my first touchscreen PC. I love that it is light in weight; easy to carry. That it has the touch screen for ease, because sometimes I can be behind it and still can change pages for demos.

I purchased this basic laptop for my daughter who is a junior in high school. She is not a gamer, watches movies online, and does a lot of typing when it comes to assignments. I went through the choices as I did not want anything to fancy based on her needs and this computer fit her requirements.

I am very please with my new TV. The picture is great and I really like the remote that you can talk to in order to go to apps or different inputs. I also like the fact that the apps are on the TV. I have another Sony TV that I purchased about 10 years ago and I have never had a problem with it.

one side of the batter compont don't lock well had a few issue in start screen flash and through all programs on start up windown, took awahile to get hp to stay in tool bar. but now every thing is sunny side up.

I purchased this laptop just few months ago and it has been working good for me. I use my computer for simple tasks, as Office files, internet,... So, my evaluation is not based on hard tasks or softwares

Love this laptop. It is lightweight and doesn’t overheat. The screen is perfect size and its capabilities are more than enough to meet my needs. It was a great deal and I hope it lasts me for many years.
