Bought my daughter a new lap top only to find out that it wouldn't connect to internet unless you were next to the router. Brought it back and was given a new one to replace it. Great customer service.

over all this computer does what we bought it for , installation scheduling and printing, and email. it is not as fast as i would have hoped for the simple task we bought it for but it definitely does the job

I purchased this for my grandson for college and he is liking it so far. Works good for his classes but he says it is a little slow for some of his games. I thought that was what the game console was for.

Ease of setup and operation are good but still a bit clumsy in places. No.1 complaint is the cheaply made and poorly constructed case. Leaves a bit to be desired. Overall still good deal for the money.

I bought this for my granddaughter, a college freshman. She is ecstatic with it. It does everything she needs it to do along with extra things she wants to do. Very good product for long time computer user.

I bought this as a combo birthday gift / replacement unit for my son. He uses it for general school work as well as movies and internet surfing. A little underpowered for gaming but a good basic machine.

I really like the size and weight of this laptop. It's a little slow booting up sometimes, but overall very easy to use. This is my first computer with windows 10, and I'm still getting used to that.

I purchased an HP laptop running Windows 10 about three weeks ago. The PC works fine, but as you would expect, there were a few minor start up issues. One- The onboard HP "ass_istant" recommended that I do six or seven system upgrades. Because some of the upgrades did not pertain to me, I called HP support for guidance. Unbelievably the agent told me that if my PC was running well, not to do any of them because they tended to cause additional problems. I feel sorry for those who did not call. Two- HP Assistant gave me specific instructions on some screen copying from websites. Some of it worked, some didn't. I called HP support for help, and 45 minutes later he had not addressed the problem. Unbelievably (again!) he tried to sell me extended maintenance. I suggested that he actually fix something before he tried to sell his service. Three- I could not get my DVD player to play any of my DVDs. These DVDS range from very old to very new, traditional and Blue Ray formats. After 90 minutes of struggle (both PC and language based) the agent gave up, and said my DVDs were not compatible. Nowhere in the literature did HP say there might be compatibility issues. I would return the PC except I've spent hours setting it up, loading files, customizing settings, and it seems to run ok. If I had it to do over again, I would buy a Lenovo...

Bought this in a hurry to replace my old laptop. Feels a little flimsy but does everything I wanted it to. I've never had an HP before but will probably buy another one when this one is obsolete.

Was looking for a light weight laptop to carry around with me. It fits the requirements. The keyboard portion doesn't seem as sturdy as my Toshiba, but is expected considering the weight of the laptop.

Outstanding. Enjoying greatly. I have ‘this item great in every way. I have used it for both work and personal use. I truly enjoy the weigh and it travel ability. I have traveled with it to Germany, England and other places. No problem and it is the best tool in my backpack.

This is a nice little laptop for household use. It's built with lower grade material but the machine is quick and reliable. Also has good internals for an all around nice machine. Can't beat the price for something with an i5 and 8gb ram in a 15" laptop. Price match Amazon!

Got this for my husband when his old one died. Was on sale and in stock, unlike the one that said it was in stock on line. Is a good second computer when he is not using his work laptop during the day.

I do photography and video work, and for a field computer, this has been a good device. Renders are a bit slow, but not bad for a lower-end laptop. i have done no gaming, so I can't answer that.

This is a good basic laptop if you are just looking to surf the web and do some work at home. Only problem is I would recommend a getting something with a faster processor for working with a VPN.

bought my envy 3 years ago and then purchased this newer version for my nephew this year. works great and he's able to do all his school work and everything else on it. The I5 processor is fast and performs well

This computer is all I wanted. I have had it since 2018 and have not had a minute of trouble with it. I am not a light user, I always have multiple tabs open for my research. Great product.

This laptop has been very dependable. I got it for my son and he carries it to class, home, just hanging out. I need to get 2 more for my niece and nephew who started college this year
