I like Asus computers, although this new one I do not like you have to have an attachment in order to plug anything into it. For example my mouse. Just one more thing for me to lose along with drag it around.

This laptop is great for college. The SSD really makes it fast starting up and the quality is great. I used it for java,CSS HTML, Python and browsing the web and it worked perfectly.

I bought this laptop mainly for its touch-screen feature, which I was impressed with. Still though, it is uncomfortable and awkward to use touch on a laptop. I'm just going to stick to my tablet

Pros: Beautiful thin and light laptop, good keyboard, bright screen, fingerprint reader works well, trackpad is smooth and can be easily switched off. Good speakers. Great price. Overall, the laptop is well constructed. Cons: Fan ramps up for no reason and runs loud. Bottom under vent on the left side gets too hot to sit on my lap when the laptop is under load. Battery life is poor. Battery runs down quickly even while the laptop is closed and asleep. I talked to ASUS tech support about the loud fan and unusually short battery life. They admitted there was something wrong with the laptop and told me to take it back to the place I purchased it. Best Buy here I come! The ASUS will be returned. By the way, I was not impressed with ASUS tech support. I'm going to try the HP Spectre x360. I've read it has really good battery life. I need a laptop that will give me a good 6-7 hours of battery life while doing productivity work and web surfing. I don't want to take a chance on another ASUS. Overall, I can't recommend this laptop due to the short battery life and loud fan. I think this is an example of getting what you pay for. The HP Spectre x360 is more expensive, but I think it will be worth it. I'll let you all know how it turns out. Thanks! EH

so noisy fan never stop. it starts when laptop turns on and never stop whatever job you do for even a small task

It only had usb C type, and the pen didn't run smuddly on the screen. I wasn't happy with the key board, so I changed it for an HP

The design is nice, slim, light, and attractive. But when I use it, it gets hot pretty fast, and the battery last only like about 4.5 hours, so I returned it.

This is a very good computer for the price. We bought this for my son entering high school. It is a light and powerful machine and has some expandibiity.

This is my second Asus laptop and I love it. But the battery doesn’t seem to hold charge for long. Need to monitor it for some more time. First one bought in 2012 is still in working condition except for hard disk changes twice.

Bought this for my daughter when she went to college. Works great since it's thin and light. Battery can last her all day in classes. i7 with 16G of RAM is enough for whatever classes throws at her.

Unfortunately, I had to return this computer because it ran extremely hot. The computer ran so hot it made the receipt paper turn brown. The plus side is I exchanged it for the big brother asus Q535 and I am glad I did.

I am in love with my laptop. I bought a cheaper Asus first. No Solid State Drive. Big mistake. It ran slower than my old dial up. Got this one. It has solid state drive and runs like a dream. Could not live without it!

I'm picky, VERY picky. I can't really find any fault here... The build quality is good, it's solid, the screen is very bright, keys are better than most other ultra books, the sound is decent, and it runs silent.

It doesn't have too many additional features that make it stand out or make it unique, but it is certainly a solid and speedy laptop.

saved 125 dollars using the best buy student deals. I 7, 16gb ram, 512gb ssd. cant beat those specs. was looking to purchase the MacBook pro, but once I saw this. I had to buy it. very happy with my purchase.
