    I am trying to use my 2 year product replacement and the geek squad customer service rep told me I can't because all stores in NYC are closed furing covid. He said ther is nothing I can do about my defective product even though I purchased a protection plan.

    I decided to buy the Geek Squad protection plan for my Jabra 75 T ear buds. The buds have had continual problems and after several attempts to fix them I decided to take them back to Best Buy after 10 months. BB gave me zero problems returning the ear buds until they told me I had to pay $50 for another protection plan and I would not be pro rated on the protection plan I had. IMO, I paid $50 for another plan for a set of ear buds that will probably go bad again. No more Geek squad plans for me and after the snotty way the girl treated me.

    Before purchasing I called myself reading the reviews on this product but I couldn't find any that really talked about the sound quality of this headset. I will never purchase them again and I do have the replacement plan but I am not sure if it will help with the sound problems. I cannot hear majority of my incoming and outgoing calls that are made on them and I rather just put them in my drawer and leave them be. Will never purchase this brand again.

    not worth it, really, its just an upsell you will end up having your product gone for weeks to months and the next version aailable by the time you get it serviced

    I bought this for a pair of headphones that I ended up exchanging as they broke down within my 30 day return period. I've bought this for my computers and other electronics and I've never had a problem getting things fixed or replaced.

    Geek Squad declined to replace my ear bud (2020)

    When I had problems with my head offices within the two year replacement policy, Geek square DENIED me a replacement bud demanding that they be given to Geek squad so that ‘they can try to fix them’ but not replace my malfunctioning ear bud. I went through Samsung’s warranty because they actually gave me what I paid for. If you’re buying geek squad REPLACEMENT for your devices, just burn the equivalent cost in cash. It’ll get you the same service.

    We ended up having to son’s laptop to repair the monitor clamps in the outer case of the monitor frame and they fixed cause it was under warranty. It took longer than expected and it broke again 2 months after. Unfortunately the warranty has expired by then so we didn’t got a replacement which they should have given us cause we purchased a 2 yr warranty that promised that if they could fix it and they didn’t fix it right got the same monitor and pieces on it they just glue them back on

    Have had the computer for over a year and it’s very sluggish, after running multiple diagnostics and getting no issues reports I hav3 to say that it just loads and processes very slowly. Will not buy another one

    I dont get the reason I payed for 2yrs product replacement yet I'm given a deadline for may 31 to return my defective headset that keeps loosing connection. Please explain

    Heads up, you can only replace something once. It's not a free replacement for 2 years it's a "One time replacement". I have been having issues with Bluetooth head phones and found out the hard way that it wasn't a 2 year blanket replacement program. I don't reccomend wasting money on it.

    My phone warranty had expired...I was never told it was good for only 2 years. And I had difficulty switching out my headphones. The ones I had were discontinued and I had to pay 79.00 for the difference

    I had received a DJI Mavic Pro Fly More Bundle. It came with 2 years Geek Squad protection. I got it looked at and was issued a replacement. Great. But, I had to buy a second 2 year protection service for the replacement. Apparently, the original protection "terminates" after using a COVERAGE FOR TWO YEARS within a month of activation. This does not make sense at all. If you are covering all parts, labor, and even a full replacement for two years, then you should be able to use any amount of coverage for those two years. Best Buy... Best Buh Bye.

    Not worth it on apple products. You need to schedule an appointment to bring in the product. Then it gets mailed out. Really aggravating

    Replacement phone not working well

    Phone has many problems from day one. But could not take back within specified time for replacement because stores closed because of covid19.

    I purchased the replacement plan. I was under the impression that I would be able to replace my device free of charge. One of my ear buds went out. And because LG comes out with a new headset every few months I would have to pay the difference. The difference was $80 I am disappointed with this service.

    I purchased a set of Bluetooth earphones and they stopped working after 6 months. I took them in and they replaced them. I had to repurchase the protection to get the replacement... Seems like it's going to be a waste if these earphones keep going out.

    I dislike geek squad protection plans. They make it so vague what type of protection applies to the product that you are purchasing. When speaking with an agent I was told to go to a whole different website to see what was include. Which can not be found on any pages actually linked to the product that was purchased. I feel this is very deceptive. I will be using square trade from now on. At least they make it clear what type of coverage I am purchasing before it is purchased without going through so much.
