This is a must have with any major electronic purchase. I havent had any issues so far with my insignia 50' tv purchase.

My tv was having issues and I quickly got a store credit about 1 1/2 years after purchasing the tv this plan was added to. I definitely recommend this service for any electronic.

Free in home service for tvs that are over 45 inches. Granted manufacturers like samsung do the same thing but only for the one year that they offer their warranty for and they do not cover electric surge damage. no brainer when you are spending so much money on a television

The geek squad has always stood by their service agreements. I always purchase this service when buying any type of electronics. Best Buy's Geek squad has always been fast and quality service.

I bought the Geek Squad protection for 5 years for my 50 in Insignia TV. I do a lot of business with Best Buy and I've only had to use it once in the past but for $55 for 5 years you cannot go wrong.

Worry free service and protection. Helps to have a technology person to help you. More important is not to have a surprise repair bill. Replacement policy is next to none.

The two year plan was priced at a good rate. I feel this was a great buy.

I purchased the 5 Yr Geek Squad Protection Pan for my Purchase just incase the worst happens and I need to Repair or have the Item Replaced. In my Opinion I think it was expensive for a 5 Year Plan. Also, it has many Restrictions that is in Fine Print that it does NOT cover. But in my opinion I paid so much for my TV I wanted to be Safe and not sorry.

Dont buy from best buy!!!! They used to be good my TV messed up and we called them cause they can be fickle on what they do and say. Ive returned tvs for store credit before to get another brand cause the one i had has issues. This time I asked about it and they said i would have to have it brought in then sent off for repair. Or someone come to my house ive had people steal from me before i do not let people in my house. I told them that I wanted to do a warranty and then was going to buy a more expensive tv. They told me that i could not do that then transfered me to a supervisor who said yes it would be ok let me get you to another department. That next department pretty much told us to send it in or nothing at all. So like normal fashion with best buy its up to if they feel like letting you do it or not. I just had swapped out a bad router for a better one and guy at register said yes you can do this. But about a month or 2 later they wont let me exchange my tv? It has panel issues I spend most of my time at home due to not being able to work cause of a back injury so if i have to send my tv back for repair i will have no way of watching tv. But its cool i wont be buying from best buy anymore and i have slowed down over the years buying from them i was an elite member spending over 7k a year with them but as i said no more.

Love that you can spend a lil extra money to make sure your stuff is covered incase of something stupid happens
