    I recommend on any purchase over $500. We used this on our TV last month and they were great about replacing it.

    Replacement rules are a joke! My Samsung 50” QLED TV started showing black lines at the bottom so naturally I called geek squad to troubleshoot. The Geek Squad guy (who was very nice) determined I was not at fault and that it was a quality control issue so the tv needed to get replaced. He got in touch with the “GEEK SQUAD EXHANGE SUPPORT TEAM” and facilitated the exchange process. When I followed up with the Geek Squad Exchange Support Team, I was initially assured by the representative that I would be refunded the amount that my tv was worth or at least an amount that was very close to the original price that I paid. THAT WASNT THE CASE! I was shortchanged over $120 short of the original price of my tv. I WAS LIVID because that is so illogical to me! I asked if my particular tv that would be getting replaced (50” samsung QLED) had depreciated since I purchased it last year. The representative said that the shortchanged refunded price was not due to depreciation. The reason was they use a moronic and flawed computer program that determines the comparable price to be refunded. Once my tv’s info was entered into this computer program, it turns out that my particular tv “doesnt exist anymore” so the next random tv with so called “matching specs” had to be chosen. Well this sucks because the tv chosen was $200 cheaper than my tv and didnt even have the same specs! That is not comparable or close to the original price like the rep assured me. So Im out over $120. AND CHECK THIS OUT! A newer version of my QLED tv WITH THE EXACT SAME SPECS is currently for sale now on Best Buy’s website. And guess what? It is exactly the same price I paid for my “nonexistent” model! THAT IS WHACK BEYOND COMPREHENSION! This is the last time I buy a tv from Best Buy because their contractual terms for replacements need to be completely REVISED! If your tv breaks & you choose this service plan, you better pray your particular tv still exists if it breaks. If not, you face being CHEATED OUT OF YOUR MONEY!

    haven't had to use it yet. But good to have in case something goes wrong with my LG TV. Piece of mind for 5 yes.

    So far, it's been 2 years and the TV is STILL good. I hope I can use this just in case. I only got 3 years left.

    This protection is a great value to protect your tv from any damages that may accrue over two years. For expensive items it's always best to insure them.

    I have put these protection plans on my bug Best Buy purchases and not only is it peace of mind but has saved me several $100 in repairs and replacements.

    I've had geek squad protection on all of my purchases from Best Buy. My problem is always solved with minimal issue. Miles beyond a manufacturer warranty.
