Always get get squad protection when it's available. Seems like products have a certain lifespan nowadays. Always comes in handy plus you get the new models of items if they have been discontinued. They also give you the money you payed for the item just in case you want to get an entirely different product.

Purchased this for my new SONY OLED TV. Have had this service before, and it becomes very handy when your new electronic device you just spent over 1K on brakes right on the 1 year mark. If financially suitable, would definitely recommend.
