I highly recommend you get protection for expensive electronics. Had to use geek squad protection after 65 inch 4k tv purchase, and worked flawlessly. No questions asked. Product exchange after 2 month purchase, because of lemon product.

My previous TV (different brand and purchased elsewhere) died unexpectedly after two years and I was operating on a tight budget, so I thought that I would insure this one. You know , if you are superstitious, the best way to guarantee trouble-free service from your device is to buy service protection - but either way you are covered.

Good tv for the cost. Picture and sound good quality and easy to hang.

Bought a 83” lg oled, so I wanted to be protected for the 5 years in case anything happened.

for big tv's this warranty is better than the manufacturers extended warranty. In some cases it may cost more, but the coverage is much better with geek squad than with LG's plan for TV's

5 year Protection Plan which is wonderful...... Incase there was a issue...

I purchased the 5 year protection plan for my new Sony TV just because these newer sets are actually computers....too much that can go wrong. Though it states 5 years, it's really only 4 years because the first year is under the manufacturer warranty. Save the box! I had a 5 year extended warranty on my last tv and it broke in the sixth year.

I've always had great service with GS and only have good things to say about them really. They've always been helpful and knowledgeable and friendly.

I recommend everyone to get a warranty on any big television

I purchased the 2 year Geek Squad for my new Roku TV and haven't actually used it yet, but it covers any damage and even if something as small as two pixels going dead on the screen and they'll replace it so I'd say for an extra $30 it's well worth it.

Great solution for my father-in-law who lives in Florida. We live in Illinois. This will hopefully ensure he will have a working TV for many the next 5 years without any hastle.

I always believe it is better to be safe than sorry, and definitely that applies to consumer purchases. For the price of a 5-year warranty and the Best Buy customer service that comes with it, it was an easy smart purchase! Always buy the warranty.
