Sales price was quoted as $199....got to the register and it was $347. However it is a Samsung and I need the extra protection

5 years is fine but will be a waste of money most likely

I've been trying to get support for a TV that I purchased at Best Buy along with a 5 year geek squad protection plan. I was chatting with an agent online, but was disconnected. The agent was not able to find my purchase. I've given all of my information, and Online Order Number, BBY01-773115002193. I paid for a purchase plan and would like to be able to use it.

i gave it 3 stars for the peace of mind it gives me, have not had to use the service.

I don’t remember getting this so I have to ask my wife how she likes it.

Horrible experience. Called them to make sure the item was there. The guy promised me that the TV will be all boxed up and all the accessories will be included. When I picked it up, the TV was half bubble wrapped, no remote or stand. I drove an hr and a half to pick it up. They basically told me to take the way it is or leave. No wonder the shops are disappearing.

I haven't had a need to use the service yet but good to know it's there when and if I needed it to get my equipment fixed.

Bought one of these for each of the TV's I bought for the girls rooms. TV's must be pretty good as I have not needed them.

Have not used this yet but gives me comfort having it.

Haven't had to use the protection, so can't really rate it.

Why buy a protection plan when the G.Squad tells you there's nothing wrong? Feels like wasted money on my end.

It's insurance, do you need it? I haven't used it so I do not know, but hope I never have to

The included Services of geek squad protection seem to have diminished greatly over time. You get charged no less than $100 for someone to come out and troubleshoot in a way you could have done with a CSR over the phone. They really don't do much else even when a TV make and model is known for having certain issues for some reason they don't bring the most likely needed parts with them to address the problem. That makes no sense to me.

My devices have been running perfectly so no need for this yet. The comfort pf knowing i have it is amazing though!

Its nice to know you have coverage however i just found out thati have the exact same coverage already on my insurance...

I used the geek squad for our new vizio TV, which was having a terrible halo effect. I was told just turn down my brightness to where everything looked so dark I couldn't the Halo, or anything else on the TV. I give 2 starts because the geek squad has done well for me in the past, but this was not one of those times
