    Wouldn't make a purchase over $1000 without adding geek squad protection. No frills, no hassle, just fix whatever problem you have.

    Bought this as simple protection. Spent $800 for a TV, seemed like god insurance. Our last TX had a control module fail just out of Mfg. warranty. All was replaced without fuss.

    My TV is only six months old. No problems so far. I usually don't buy extended warranties , but with electronics being what they are I thought I'd give the Geek Squad a shot.

    Though I generally don't purchase the extended warranty on TV's, there's a lot going on inside those things anymore. It's the best priced extended warranty that I know of.
