Prior to purchasing this HDTV, I owned a Sony HDTV for 9 years. About 6 years after I purchased it, the picture started to fail. I purchased the protection plan as insurance in case I encounter any problems with this HDTV.

You have to stay protected. Why not do it with a warranty from where you bought the device....

Geek Squad protection is a must have to secure your item of mishaps and or manufacture defects. You can’t go wrong with having it.

I bought a TV for my company and then bought this 5 years plan for the peace of mind so if something happens to the TV it will be covered.

This is the protection I purchased for the television I bought and I hope I will never need this but it was a great price for the warranty

Got this for a lesser name brand tv for my parents if it were to stop working in the near future. Hope not to have to use it but we'll see...

Great service from the geek squad when needed. They have come out and fixed my problem and if there's no solution Best Buy replaces your item.

Its a good service for a decent price i just wish they added one more year to the subscription.

Having called about a problem with new tv purchase and being told I would be charged for something not working that I purchased the 5 year extended warranty for. Was also told I would need to bring it in for repair. It's a 49 inch tv which is supposed to be covered for in home service. I had to contact support to get resolved. I'm giving a recommend, but with reservations.

Bought the geek squad protection on our last tv and I had to use it. Was a very easy process and got handled quickly over the phone.

I was able to get this TV on sale and I've had it for 6 months without any issues it looks good and it goes great with my gaming system.
