    Geek squad protection has saved me sooo many times omgosh!!! I do not buy electronics without this and that's why I buy all of my electronics from Best Buy! Thank you Geek Squad!!!

    i thing those kind of warranty extensions are always useful..my tv burned at house at fire i could not get money back but, they refund the money from protection ..not full amount but for one year usage i did get $75 back..fine

    I always purchased an extended warranty for piece of mind especially with an expensive electronic products hopefully if I ever needed to use it it would cover it with no pressure

    REplacement took months of wasted everything .

    for tv it was kind of brutal . The tv was broke the guy had to come out and change the main board in the tv before giving us a new tv. So this took almost 2 months. We did not have a tv for almost 2 months Every time they came they had to replace the same thing ... The tv was 500 dollars instead of replacing it they spent 3000 on 3 boards that did not work, whatever they had to pay the guys to come out and work every time for 2 hours, This was honestly ridiculous. Nothing made sense. luckily we finally got the replacement after the 3rd time and thats the only reason we get 1 more star.

    I always recommend getting some sort of protection or insurance policy on any electronics over 50 dollars for the price it is definitely worth the piece of mind great purchase

    Smartest thing I could have done, because you never know when something might happen to the TV. You only have a 30 day return policy and then after that it's on you and I don't have the money to just run out and have repairs done to the TV.

    I opted for the extra warranty for the Samsung and Insignia TVs I just purchased. Our 2 TVs were damaged during a power surge when a storm came through. Best Buy covers power surge damage!

    I don't plan on breaking my tv but the protection plans always come in handy!!! I pretty much buy a Geek Squad Protection plan for everything from cameras down to TV's. You will never know what could happen so its best to stay on the safe side.

    Always worth the extra money upfront. You never know when something is going to go wrong. Best Buy makes it easy to just swap your item out or get a store credit towards a replacement.

    I usually don't opt for extended warranty type services, but this one went will with my TV purchase. So far, have not had to use it but it is comforting to now it is there if I have problems.

    excellent warranty I needed to fix my TV twice due to power outages and the geek squad service repair specialist came out to my home and had it fixed in a matter of minutes.

    **THE PROTECTION PLAN IS A SCAM**

    I am extremely disappointed with the handling of my recent return attempt under the Best Buy Protection Plan. Despite the product being defective and covered by my plan, the store’s general manager refused to process the return, claiming he did not observe the issue I described. I also explained that I could not leave the monitor at the store since I needed a replacement immediately to complete my work, yet I was offered no professional support or resolution. It is troubling how easily these protection plans are sold, yet when customers attempt to use them, the process feels dismissive and unnecessarily difficult. This experience leaves me questioning the value of the program and the commitment to customer care.

    Help with todays Laptops and software

    I've only had to use the Geek Squad once and was very happy with the results. With today's computers and software it has not always been easy to fix my own computer especially with today's laptops. It was worth the membership to me for the protection value.
