A Geek Squad extended service plan is always a good idea, especially for electronics.

Did not even end up needing it. What a waste. SMH.

These replacement plans are good, but are they really worth it?

I think this was for delivery service of fridge. If so, I give them three stars because of the fact that they don’t assist more with damaged goods they deliver. Dented fridge door. They take pictures but don’t take it any further. I need to call in. For a garage fridge, it’s not worth my time.

As we transported our TV with extra care, the TV screen was damaged. We had this TV for less than half a year and expected the warranty to be able to cover this minor mishap but the warranty wouldn't cover this damage. The agent was super respectful and explained the situation on why the warranty won't cover our TV. This warranty is useless and not worth the extra money. I do not recommend buying.

I called Geek Squad 3 times already to simply ask for an e-mail confirmation of my purchase of a 5-year protection plan so I can see and confirm the exact expiration of the coverage of the TV that I purchased. The TV has a manufacturer's warranty of one year so I assumed my TV is covered for 6 years with the additional 5-year plan. The problem is the representative I talked to keep insisting I could find the warranty details in the Best Buy website which is non-existent. I purchased a 2-year protection plus at first and decided to upgrade it to a 5-year after I exchange my TV and I got an e-mail detailing for that 2-year plan. All I am "simply" asking is the same e-mail details, for a 5-year protection warranty. Is this too much to ask? Do a elite customer like me have to call Geek Squad 3 times and get my call transferred multiple times and end up talking to someone who does not have a clue whatsoever?

The Geek Squad can almost anything that might go wrong with a puchase.

The Geek Squad service didn’t even check to see why the tv wasn’t working. By just looking at it they claimed that it appears the internal screen is broken and they’re not allowed to send it out to be fixed.

Nothing against the person, but I couldn't understand him because of his heavy Indian accent. Then at the end, he just gave me another number to call for help. What's the point of this protection if they are just going to give you the run-around?

Today's technology comes with more unwanted headaches when software glitches occur. Let's hope I never have to use it.

Haven’t needed to use it yet.. But I’m sure when the time come it will be quick and easy!

We really didn't use the service at first, but when needed, it had already expired.

Way too expensive and does NOT cover what they say they cover with tELEvISION insurance! Watch out!! They do repair computers, but they will likely be set back to the original. Like, if you downloaded Windows 10.0 version,, then after repair,, it's likely that it'll be Windows 8.0 version [original at purchase]. Use good judgement!

Great warranty exchange. No problem at all. Took in old tv & got new 1.

Sales price was quoted as $199....got to the register and it was $347. However it is a Samsung and I need the extra protection

Got my TV covered for 2 yrs, total $26.8. ...I should've gotten the 5yr for $40, but there's always nxt time

was told by salesperson that the geek squat would repair any home electronics. Not true.

Haven't used it yet, so I have no opinion. If and when I do, I will update this review.
