Good warranty service to have for tv anything get.

I have not shopped at Best Buy for years and can honestly say I do not miss it. Poor customer service, Hassle to get a price match, and Geek Squad Protection is a joke. Good news is I got this protection for a steal for a price matched TV that the store did not want to match. Will definitely take my business elsewhere and cancel the my best buy membership that was only purchased to get an extended return period because the standard 14 days is a joke. Brick and mortar tech stores will eventually all go under, Best Buy is on that path.

PURCHASED A TV END IF APRIL. RETURNED FROM A VACATION MID MAY AND IT LOOKED AS IF THE TV SHATTERED ON THE INSIDE. TOOK THE ITEM TO THE HARRISONBURG VA LOCATION AND THE "GENTLEMAN" AT THE GEEK SQUAD DESK WAS RIDICULOUSLY CONDESCENDING AND RUDE. I TOLD HIM THAT MY SON TURNED IT ON WHEN HE RETURNED FROM VACATION ANS IT LOOKED AS IF IT WAS SHATTERED ON THE INSIDE. HE SAOD SHATTERED SCREENS ARE NOT COVERED AND LOOKED BACK DOWN AT HIS PHONE. I ASKED WHAT COULD BE DONE TO REPLACE IT WOTH THE GEEK SQUAD 5 YEAR WARRANTY... HIS REPLY WAS... YOU COULD RECYCLE IT AND GAVE A HALF SMUG SMILE. WHAT IS THE POINT OF GEEK SQUAD IF THEY ACT LIKE GARBAGE. CUSTOMER LOST.

This is a great TV but I definitely will say that the TV is lagging and it stalls out and freezes sometimes to the point where I have to unplug my tv. It becomes slow and idk why.

Have used the protection plan once and I had a bad experience with it. Took almost 3 month to get my t.v. fixed or replaced. Maybe bad timing with this whole pandemic but at the end it did get resolved.

Haven't needed to use yet but im happy to have them.

They came out said nothing's wrong but American home shield sent a Sony tech out through allstate and found the main board to be bad and they had a scanner to connect directly best buy techs just winged it

No problems but good to know help is there when needed.

The adjents did all the work and worked pretty quickly. Only issue was I felt they rushed to get out of there after. Didn't really help me set up anything and the TV picture was awful. Had to return the TV.

When buying the protection, I asked if it covered the screen and was told yes. What I wasn't told was it doesn't cover damage to the screen itself. I would not have gotten it knowing that. For tv protection, I would not recommend.

Took two appointments but they fixed my new Sony tv

This is way better than the manufacturers warranty. Just bought a Vizio earlier this year, and it failed in 9 mo. Zero warranty. Problem with this warranty, you have to haul your tv back to best buy.

Always good to get an extra warrenty when you have kids
