I bought an extended warranty on my Samsung tube pre-amped Blu-Ray and 5.1 surround sound system. Unfortunately, it began to fail me near the end of the warranty. I took it to the store, who checked it out and told me it was fine. What they didn't tell me was that they needed me to bring the speakers in with it for them to test it properly. All they did was to play a movie in it and declared it fine. I returned it a second time with the speakers. They sent it out for repair before my warranty expired but it had expired by the time the repair center received it and got it on the workbench. Then they wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars for the repair. After getting nowhere with the Geek Squad worker drones and the Geek Squad manager, I finally asked to speak to the store manager, who saw my dilemma and made a command decision to replace my unit with a newer similar unit. The store manager kept me as a Best Buy customer, but I am done with Geek Squad at present.

It was delivered quickly and easy to set up. I’m happy with my purchase

Did not work at all as advertised. Remote was not operating as detailed in instructions.

i recently had a sharp tv that failed. geek squad made 2 trips out to try to fix a $379 tv. wow .... finally after a bit of complaining they replaced it

Staring to make a slight buzzing noise when more bass comes though

Plan price changed and they wouldn’t adjust it. Otherwise the tech person was very nice.

For the price of the open box vs the retail price this is an ok soundplate. I definitely would not pay the retail price for the soundplate because I believe there are better ones out there for the price.

I have not had to use this warranty yet so I can't really say much. Be assured if I am unhappy everyone will know.

It’s great with good base in movies and for music. No option screen tho it just does what it’s programmed to do.

Handshake issue knowing by Denon. I spoke to an agent from Denon and I was told to take the equipment back to the store for a replacement. After I did that the store sent the equipment to be fixed and I still have the same issue. They do not want to exchange the equipment.

My review is about "Open Box". This is my first time utilizing Best Buy online. My Sony speaker didn't even power on. I am glad that you have insurance policies.
