Best Buy warranties are always a good value. They back their products very well and resolves issues whenever something isn't right or breaks...

I would not buy anything with out making sure that I have the geek squad protection plan. They cover almost everything when you have a problem and they help you when you don't know anything about the item.

I usually have high regrads with the Geeksquad but I am only giving this a 3 star rating because of an incident that I feel has not been resolved. I purchased a soundbar and subwoofer. The serial number on the box, receipt and Geeksquad paperwork all matched but they did not match the serial number on the soundbar nor on the subwoofer. When I brought it to the attention of both the sales department and Geeksquad, I was not not to worry about it and they will honor the warranty and correct the serial numbers at the time of service. Since it is not corrected now, I'm leary they will honor a warranty for the product having different serial numbers than on the receipt. After all, who's to say I don't have 2 soundbars but only 1 warranty. Time will tell.

Having extra protection and assistance is always good!

I did not need them yet but my sister-in-law has installed more modern equipment and they hooked everything up for her. When we visit her the sound system sounds amazing and she highly recommends us to use their services if needed.

I always add protection to eligible items so I can have peace of mind should the item require repairs or replacement.

Geek squad was able to help me out with my speakers when they were going out.

I’ve always gone with the protection plan from Best Buy I’ve had to use it a couple times on some high end TVs only which paid off in the end which gave me what I paid for the TV and purchased brand new one
