Fortunately I haven't needed to invoke the powers of the bullet proof extended warranty from the Geek Squad but it's reassuring having it if needed.

Everything thing I purchase from Best Buy i get the protection plan. It is so much better than other stores. I only wished they renew when expired.

Positives: Let me start of by saying this product delivers great sound. Clear. Precise. No distortion. Great quality. Great looking design too Negatives: it had a connectivity issue with my TV. I connected through HDMI ARC connection. It kept turning my tv back on after I turned it off. Whether I used the Bose remote or the TV remote, it didn’t matter. It did the same to my Apple TV. It turned everything back on a second after I turned it off. This was the primary reason for returning the product. The software upgrade didn’t help either. The next thing that bothered me was that my TV had pretty decent sound and it didn’t upgrade the quality to a $700 level. I had bought just the sound bar. No other add-ons. My TV is a Sony XBR930. 55 in. If you don’t have any connectivity issues and if your tv sound isn’t all that great, this is a great product.

excellent warranty on the sound bar. if anything goes wrong just take it back to the store. they will swap out a new one or a newer model. i love knowing i dont have to waste money and go buy more stuff.

So glad to have it. Definitely puts my mind at ease knowing if something goes wrong with my speakers they can be fixed. Warranties!! Are the best!
