Didn't need them past maximizing my computer out of the box. I am sure they would have been a great help if I had needed them.

I always purchase the protection plans from Best Buy. My child is rough with her technology and this serves as added insurance.

Very convenient as Geek Squad can access you laptop remotely saving you a trip there... twice (drop off and pick up).

Will not buy a computer from anyone but Best Buy where I feel it is secure and properly supported by the Geek Squad.

Geek Squad was able to fix the problem with my computer fairly easily. However, because there was only one rep at the counter, who could only work on technical problems in between dealing with other customers, my problem couldn't be solved during business hours, necessitating an additional trip by me back to the store. There need to be at least two Geek Squad reps at all times during business hours. Also, Best Buy should include 30 days of free Geek Squad service with any new electronic device they sell.

i haven't used the service yet but knowing i'm protected is reassuring. the service at best buy is easy to use and convenient

best thing to have for your computer, anything goes wrong geek squad has you covered. a real warranty made in the USA

I feel like this time on this new computer, that the Geek Squad warranty has been a waste. I've taken my computer in a couple times and Geek Squad has said stop trying to reconnect to the internet, you are creating caches, because my computer disconnects from the internet and freezes all the time, while no other computer in the house has that issue. Geek Squad didn't fix any of the issues and I feel I wasted my warranty. In the past GS has helped, but I just feel this time around it hasn't.
