    Don’t bother read the fine print, they cover only things that rarely break. Waste of $100

    Its not worth buying any protection plans for apliances. When i bought the TV,I was told that the protection covered everything,including accidental falls,hits,anything in general. Turns out its just a way to get you to purchase something that wont cover anything. Complete disappointment

    This would have been a fantastic 5-year protection plan if customer service would only take my television back. They couldn't replicate the problem in the store so it became our problem, not theirs.

    The didn't replace a 2 month old TV that stopped working. Had to wait for 2 home visits that spanned a month for repair. Then the rescheduled My appointment without my knowledge.

    As an IT technician with 20yrs experience in healthcare and federal gov't. I would never recommend Geek Squad for laptop or PC repair.

    I had a third-party mount my TV so I don’t know how they did but they seem to be OK but the overall geek squad plan is extremely expensive

    I admit I have been roped in too many times with the geek squad warranty. It is just another selling point. Why pay the money for a warranty that doesn't even include the most basic of damages or accidents? Why pay ahead of time when it costs less or the same to fix something later if it does break? There really is no point in buying the warranty. On high end products they will never replace the product and always find some loophole to get you with.

    I can never get through to Geek Squad when I need to ask a question or have something worked on in home. I ended up canceling it. It is taking me forever to get a refund. Not sure why?? Seems to be a waste of money, and I end up having to look at you tube videos and diagnose things myself.

    We have bought geek squad for most of our items. The items that really disappoints me when buying protection is the laptops and computers. When I took 3 back to get fixed. The remedy I always get from the geek squad, reset to factory. All the devices they want to reset to factory. They don’t even want to deal with the issue. To them, reset to factory and if it doesn’t work, then we will work on it. What kind of solution is this?

    The use of this service for my tv was awful. It was no longer working with the applications I bought it for. They sent it away updated it, and still does not work. Not sure why I paid the premium for this service. I would not recommend anyone buy this service for the TV. Definitely a scam.

    Lasts Long Enough for the Covered TV to Die

    Be very careful buying the protection plans. Seems the coverage period is long enough for the item to continue working but as soon as the warranty expires, the product dies. Will not be buying items from nor their expensive warranty plans and tell all friends, family and random strangers of this.

    I was very disappointed in the way I was treated with this plan. Which was not explained by the rep. And they would not help me when my tv went out. During the pandemic. Not consideration. Very disappointing. Reached out to Corporate and no help there either the rep was very rude unprofessional I was really shocked by the behavior. Took my money.

    Geek squad service overlaps the manufacturer warra

    When i bought the geek squad service, i was not aware one year would overlap the first year manufacturer warranty. Best buy should make this clear at the time of purchase. So if your buying a 2 year geek squad service, it does not extend the manuf warranty by 2 years.

    This is worthless, cost 100. Just to come out, waste of money. I paid for this coverage and after 1 month and my TV was acting up. They said To come out would cost 100 and that has nothing to do with the problem

    they sell you a 2 year extended warranty, except they don't include the 1 year that comes with the tv. So you are buying 1 year, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY,
