    Do not purchase if you hope that it will cover accidental damage. My TV fell and broke. This Protection became useless after that.

    will never purchase another plan thru geek squad because it cheats you out of a year only found out the protection started on day i paid for it not when manufactory warranty expired paid $60 for 1 yr may never buy from best buy again

    I purchased this March 2018 NOT 2017. Do not try and cheat me out of a year.

    Don't cover damage unlike what they tell you in store. Bought the tv less than a year ago, added coverage because I foster dogs who can get a bit wild. Apparently one of them must have head butted the TV as the display is shot. Not covered

    I got this insurance to cover 65 inch LG TV , while my wife watching television big spark came up. No damage from outside, where is complete screen is blurred. Technician did a visual inspection , he confirmed no damage from outside but internal panel was damaged by a point of impact, that will not be covered under this policy. Simply crap product , don't waste your money like me.

    I knew more than Geek Squad did and had to show them how to do the job I hired them to do. I was lied to and my time was wasted. I was basically told I’m not an important customer.

    5 years? More like 5 seconds. As soon as you walk out the door, you’re on your own. They specifically target people like you, guy reading this review about geek squad. They’re looking for you, and hungry.

    Can't get refund with Apple Pay

    I decided that I didn't need the protection plan and Best Buy was only able to refund me with a gift card because I made the purchase with Apple Pay. Remember you have 30 days after purchasing your item to add protection, so take your time and think about it.

    Cant get call back. Purchased tv that wont connect and have been teying to get help. Now it is past return time and still no call back. Called requesting manager call back has been 2 weeks and still no call back

    Apparently, I cannot use this purchase at all, because I no longer remember (or the website got it wrong) one of the (not my regular) phone #'s that I supplied, at the time that I was picking up the product.

    Over priced just for an increase in the manufacture warranty. Honestly it doesn't cover anything all you're paying for is if the tv stops working on its own or if someone out there hates you enough to throw lightning at your home and breaks your tv, your warranty might cover it.

    I have had nothing but issues with this TV. Struggles to connect to internet and its remote. It will not do either now and I’m taking it in for service agent less than two years.
