    My Tv got damaged when the Geek Squad came out they said it was not covered because of physical damage but when I purchased 1400 dollar TV and 250 dollar warranty they said it cover everything. As of today I am officially done with BESTBUY.

While Geek Squad Protection for televisions would cover things such as malfunctioning internal components and dead pixels from the result of normal use, it wouldn’t cover accidental damage from handling.     GEEK SQUAD A JOKE!!! Horrible customer service. I called 11 tim s for someone to fix this issue, still no response!!! And you can’t get your money back either!!’

    purchased the warranty for a TV I purchased. My television needed repair so of course i called to get the support i paid for. Well that worthless i asked for a refund they said i would get it that was in 2020 still waiting

    Don’t get this if you get a tv from them it not cover anything, they will tell you to get it and when you do they tell it don’t cover anything once you try to submit a claim!!

    I bought this and the tv was defective out of the box. Called and they said it was a discontinued model and couldn’t be repaired or replaced. I was charged 600 more for a comparable model.

    I have been waiting for the Geek Swad technician to show up 2 times in a row for the scheduled appointment but got disappointed. Do not purchase a geek squad plan. You will end up wasting money and getting frustrated. The appointment windows are 4 hours and already wasted 8 hours.

    Trash. Do not purchase any used items from BB. Literally 1 week after my geek squad warranty expired this tv started flickering and looked terrible. Got no help from the online service or the store. Will never buy a TV here again

    Geek Squad refuses to fix TV

    My samsung TV that i purchased from Best Buy in Bakersfield, CA on 7-20-17 has a display problem. 2.5 weeks after i called geek squad finally arrives to look at the tv (they refused to let me bring it into the store for faster service). The "repair" guy says the screen isnt covered and he wont do anything because its too expensive. what a joke.

Our Geek Squad Protection plans are designed to provide coverage above and beyond the manufacturer's warranty, but it seems that you may not have purchased that. You may want to contact Samsung (1-800-Samsung) in that case to inquire about a warranty repair. I'm sorry for any disappointment.
