Fortunately did not have to use. Purchased the protection as insurance after my Son had an issue with his older big screen, they could not get the part and they gave him a full reimbursement towards a new one.

I refuse to purchase any item now a days without an extended warranty, due to the fact that most items are built with quality in mind first before the profit being made so with tailgate being said an Best Buy extended warranty will ensure you that you at least get your money's worth.

Geek squad agent was informative and explained everything so I could understand recommend a warranty for everything well worth the money

I have not use this plan, but i have used it on previous TV's. I was able to walk in with a dead tv and walk out with a new tv during those experiences. Not cheap, but good peace of mind.

Hoping this will help me keep my product running after my warrenty runs out,will wait and see.

This warranties are great anything we buy we purchase it. Has saved us more money than they cost times 10. .

5 years of geek squad.. 5 years! Havent need to call the squad, but good to know I can if need be.

I had to purchase the geek squad TV protection for my LG C1 TV. It is an extra layer of protection and provides me with peace of mind in case there is an accident. If you can afford it go for it.

Every time I have to call the Geek Squad on a warranty issue I have a hassle. When my Sony TV died after only two years, I was told I would only be given current market value of $1080 for my $1700 TV. Also, that I would not get delivery and installation and as usual I was told I am out of the service area (even though that doesn’t seem to matter when they are selling you the TV and warranty). Lucky for me the store manager agreed that this was ridiculous and got me a replacement TV of equal value and had it delivered and installed. It’s too bad I can’t devide my review into two parts. 1 Star for the terrible Geek Squad phone customer service and five stars for the store manager!

It's painful to pay so much for a warranty. But it's necessary to sleep better at night. If something goes wrong with my TV I'd much rather call best buy and say fix my TV then find some local moron to make things worse.

Based on everything I've read, this is the most comprehensive protection plan one can find. I'm concerned about long-term durability of my new LG OLED and this plan covers everything I'm concerned about.

You must always have protection. I have used the geek squad protection plans on past devices and I’m glad I did because I needed something fixed and replaced.

I haven't had to use geek squad for my recent product purchase but I have used them in the past. They are great.. quick and know what they are doing. It's always good to have protecting especially with technology these days. Could get you a new tv for that price !
