So I bought the warranty for my 40 inch TCL on October of 2023. I called in cause I had a ghost image and I couldn't get any thing for local channels to work on this Tv and I tried 4 of them. So I called in and they said I had to bring it in or they could charge me to send repair out for service. I had a warranty that said you would never be charged?? So I just had shoulder surgery in May. It didn't go well and now in 2 weeks I am about to have my second surgery on my shoulder. I am older in my 60S. I brought the Tv in and the gentle said I wasn't supposed to bring it in. I would have to take it home and they would charge me. I have a warranty. I told my problem. Then he said he would check if they could replace it for me. Then he came back and said he would have to send it out for repair and it would be more than 2 weeks. I am having surgery and really need to have my Tv. I have always made Best Buy my first stop with TVs. I am going to replace my Tv in living room soon. But I am disappointed that not if I get my Tv I won't be able to install on wall with one arm. Just very disappointed with the overall process. I was hoping for a better outcome.

It better be worth it. Hopefully when/if u need the service, it will be a good experience

My Sharp 50in hdtv panel failed to work after have it for only 2years. Lucky I bought the 5 year plan and they replaced my tv with the newest upgrade..

I have not had to use this yet but it is nice to have just in case.

The Geek Squard Warranty is great. I had a tv under the Greek Squard and it went out iaftet 4 1/2 years and they replaced the tv. That is with no grestions asked.

bought with LG OLED CX 55" TV. Have not had to use it but purchased it because my older LG B6P 55" TV had burn-in and had to get the panel replaced. I had warranty through Amazon which was useless but luckily for me LG covered it under warranty because it was under 3 years from purchase date. Did not want to take the gamble this time around so purchased Best Buy's warranty which will replace the TV if they cant fix.

I always buy the extended warranty for my electronics. It is good to have and it gives a peace a mind to know if anything went wrong, geek squad will take care of it

Luckily I haven’t had to use the squad. But I always buy, just in case something would happen and I would need it.

I love the protection I have on my products. If anything goes wrong I take it in they check it out and I got a new one. Great to have the protection

I always get Best Buy protection plan because they take care of u and always treat u right!!! With no problem or headaches

I have the Geek Squad protection but have not had to use it. I am extremely glad to know that if i ever have issues I can contact the Geeks for assistance.

Got the warranty as this purchase was pricey and do not want to pay for a new one if this one develops an issue.

Got this extra coverage for our LG CX. Best Buy warrantee is the ONLY warrantee that covers burn-in on oleds!

Totally worth it. If they can't fix it - you get your entire $ back in a gift card. Worth worth worth & safe feeling.

Fair price. Have not had to use yet for the item I bought however, I have used their services before with ease.

Geek squad is by far a superior service for large electronic and appliance purchases.

Got nothing from them. Just that they will ignore you if you do not have a plan or something with them, rather will not give any help efforts.
