Horrible customer service. Protection plans are a waste of money because Worst Buy doesnt stand by anything. The display panel literally fell out of the top of my TV frame, and if you know anything at all about glass, this broke the screen. When it broke, it obviously broke in 1 spot because thats how glass works. Because it broke in 1 spot Worst Buy classified it as impact damage and refused to cover it. Will not be purchasing anything from this joke of a store again. Ill be taking my business over to Amazon. No wonder box stores are struggling.

We bought a Vizio 50" Tv in 2017 and purchased the 5 year protection plan, half of our TV screen quit. Meaning we needed a repair we called they said we couldn't take our TV to the store and gave us a number for in home repair, we scheduled our in home repair the repair guy came out and "repaired" our tv, it still didn't work so we were told the tv was junk. Called the return/exchange number scheduled an appointment for them to pick up the broken TV and deliver the new one since the store no longer handles that. That process took about two weeks. The day before they were supposed to pick up the old TV and deliver the new one we were told appointment time was between 7am-1pm we didn't get a confirmation call we figured since it was only a few days in between it was still a go. The day they were supposed to pick up/deliver the TV they no called/no showed, got on the Best Buy app and looked it said the order was completed on one order form then on the other one it said the appointment needed rescheduled so I called the return/exchange number back to find out why, the employee I spoke to was rude and refused to let me speak to a manager. He said "somebody higher up can't help you either", so I called the reschedule number and the employee wouldn't speak to me even after the account hold Okayed it he told me he had to talk to the account holder. I hung up and called again to speak to somebody else they had no problems talking to me after getting permission from the account holder and he got me in touch with the voicemail of the first guys manager. So in turn we still have to wait another day for our TV.

It is a great bedroom television with outstanding picture.

Great extended service plan and good customer service.

I have not shopped at Best Buy for years and can honestly say I do not miss it. Poor customer service, Hassle to get a price match, and Geek Squad Protection is a joke. Good news is I got this protection for a steal for a price matched TV that the store did not want to match. Will definitely take my business elsewhere and cancel the my best buy membership that was only purchased to get an extended return period because the standard 14 days is a joke. Brick and mortar tech stores will eventually all go under, Best Buy is on that path.

Having the extra 2 year replacement agreement means no worry's.
