Haven’t used the geek squad yet so not a really honest review. I hear it’s good when your stuff breaks “accidentally” and is easily replaced or upgraded.

I don't think that this is usually worth it. But it does give you some peace of mind, so if you think theres a good chance you need, probably pick it up.

Purchased for a family member out of state, so hopefully they can assist if I'm unable to remotely.

Good to know I’ll be protected from damages 4yrs down the line where I’ll be able to get my money back if this machine kinks out

hard to get a hold of them over emails or phone. I have used it once years ago and to be warned the warranty starts soon as you get it it doesn't extend it 1 year by using a manufactures warranty first.

The product replacement is so useless. Purchased a monitor and the 4 year geek squad replacement. The monitor was not in use for a week and when it was turned back on the screen would not recognize a display. No damage done to it. Bestbuy refuses to help me out unless i pay $900 to fix it. I purchased the product replacement alongside the monitor but its the most useless thing I could have bought.

doesn't cover or protect anything worthwhile you expect, got a monitor with missing parts and it didn't protect or get me a replacement for the lack of parts and then after that doesn't protect against the accidental damage that occurred to it during assembly due to the lack of said parts (in this case they shipped me an open box monitor without screws to keep it together with the stand) was told by employees it covered anything that could happen other than malicious damages....clearly a scam and employees clearly lied as they won't honor the warranty in store though calling in to customer support and geek squad support both say they should...WHICH IS IT?!?! why did I pay so much extra money for nothing???

Good for connecting Droids to bricks you have hanging around the house. Short cord, though.

I wanted a monitor that can also work as a TV, and the sales person told me this would work. I specifically asked if this has built in speakers and he said yes. But it does not have speakers, and doesn't have an aux output either. So that makes it a lot harder to use as a TV. As a monitor I find that it is specific to computers. My new macbook shoes up great at max resolution, but older computers would not be able to accommodate and looks a bit fuzzy. Overall, great monitor, not as good as a TV. I'm going to try to find some USB speakers and see if they work.

Something else I haven't had the chance to use but I look forward to it. I hope I get my Denero's worth!!

I usually do not buy store warranties, but this time thought I should as our TV cost so much. not crazy about adding cost, but like life insurance, it is there, just hope I don't have to use it.

Very understanding and super helpful. Were able to ship to a different location since it was a Christmas gift I was exchanging

The product move very slowly it was pretty visually but the software was not comprisable

i don't normally buy these coverages, but have teenagers who turn volumes up and leave electronics on, so wanted a little extra this time.

Replacement plan is great excpet for the fact that if anything physical happens at all its useless as any sort of physical damage isnt covered. You're better off saving the money you'd spend on the best buy geek squad plan and relying on the manufacturer's warrenty. This is because the geek squad plan doesnt cover anything that the manufacturers warranty doesn't cover.

Well i've never had to use this because i've been fortunate enough to own products that haven't broke yet.

I purchased this for my son before his freshman year in college. Within a couple of months, the computer was knocked off a nightstand and the screen broke and the hinges were displaced. They allowed him to keep it until the semester ended and fixed it over the summer. The hinges were separating when it was returned to him from Geek Squad but he had to go back to school. He told Geek Squad about it and they said not to worry that he could keep it until the break from class. He brought it in again and they again took it and returned it without fixing it correctly and he let them know again. He was told at that point that he could fix it up until the warranty expired. When he brought it back in yet again to be fixed correctly, they told him too much money had been spent on their part and his warranty no longer applied. They wouldn't fix it or replace it even though it was never correctly fixed in the first place. Eventually, the screen and hinges gave in and rendered it useless. I have bought a number computers for my four children going through college. I have always bought coverage. This is the last time I trust Geek Squad to keep their word.
