    Was not a bug fan. I bought a 4 year warranty and then when I when in with my dead item 9 months into owning it they told me they made a change to all warranties for that item and that there was nothing that could be done. I wish I wouldn’t have spent so much on the warranty for that time frame since it wasn’t used.

    Best Buy system does not track Geek Squad

    I have a receipt for a two-year contract with the Geek Squad. I have scheduled the Geek Squad and they have come to my home. I have been chBest Buy system does not track Geek Squadarged again for their service. I’ve gone into the store with my issue. I have brought in a receipt. They were not able to find my Geek Squad purchase in their system. After days and days of research and complaining, they finally found three different accounts for me. Each time I name has been spelled wrong. Now I have been assured that I have only one account. And on this account I have no Geek Squad purchases. I’ve now spent over $500 To ensure Geek Squad service. And yesterday, I went in to the store and guess what. No Geek Squad service. But I was offered to purchase it for $200

    Bought this for a robot vacuum to give me an insurance policy. Price was fair. Have not had to use it so we'll see what happens.

    So I have always loved the warranties at Best Buy but since you have changed it here recently, I’m not a fan. So I purchased a 4 yr protection plan and less then a year I had to use it because the roomba I bought wouldn’t charge . Old protection plan would let you transfer your warranty to the new one. New plan won’t.

    Geek Squad Protection plan

    I purchased the Geek Squad protection plan thinking it kicked in when my product warranty expired. Today I came into get my product worked on and was informed the warranty starts at purchase how dumb is that? Why does a person need a protection plan while the product is under warranty

    Waste of money for the Roomba

    I had to use the warranty less than 2 years after I bought it. And I bought a 4 year warranty. Once you use it it’s gone. They replaced the Roomba but I had to pay for another warranty and the difference of prices. A cost well over $400 dollars.

    Poor design at battery connection

    Did not get extended warranty for 2 of 3. All have loose pin on circuit board for battery plug. Got 1st replaced under warranty, 2nd (1st) lasted for 6 months when bought 1 year warranty. 2 of 3 had issue just after warranty expiration, 3rd wasn’t out of box until after warranty expiration

    We didn’t use this except for maybe once for them to tell me that I had to replace the hard drive and the tech support would save me more than it cost. Wasn’t really true I ended up spending some money.

    The 24 month expected service agreement is a JOKE ONCE THE PRODUCT FAILS AND YOU RETURN IT FOR REPLACEMENT YOUR 24 month extended PROTECTION IS DONE YOU HAVE TO BUY IT AGAIN WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY

    During Corona epidemic, had to turn in my old one to get new one and they would not let me get the replacement with buying a new Protection Plan. Was not happy being strong armed into getting something that I really could not afford. And them just sitting on their phones while I waited on them to decide who would assist me really made the situation no better. Will not ever return to your business.

    They'll fix it, someday

    Bought this for a high end TV. Have needed to use it twice. Both times it took MANY weeks and at least three in home visits (by subcontractors, not even Geek Squad employees) to understand and resolve the issue.

    Disappointed as I had to pay $80 for replacement

    Roomba was grinding. They couldn't fix so they sd they'd replace it. Replacement cost me $80! Will not get Geek Squad plan ever again!
