Recommend getting the longest warranty that is offered even at the time it seems like a lot of money it's worth it in the long run just in case.

Recently it stopped working and LG would not honor the standard 1 year warranty. Don’t buy LG! I then bought a Bose 500 system from Best Buy and added Extended 4 year warranty having learned my lesson the hard way.

It will be cheaper than having to buy a new one
