I needed this. Had a blu-ray player for 9 or 10 months. Just totally stopped working. Wouldn't turn on or anything. Didn't have a protection plan. Never again. Best part, could of got 2 years for $12. But for $4 more got 4 years. Great Deal!!!!

Geek squad has always done right by me! They do what they say they will do with no hassel, last time I had to use it they went out of way to give me better service than the plan was for! And the man working was crazy HOT!!!

They are always very accommodating and helpful. When my ice machine broke i was able to return it with no issue and get store credit.

Had to use one of these on a TV I bought that started having a black line. They came out and tried to fix it but couldn’t. Instead of me being SoL they offered me a similar tv or a Best Buy gift card. It’s worth it just in case!

Sound bar and sub worked great until a few months ago. The sound bar plays perfectly fine, but the subwoofer just quit working. No LED light or way to repair it.

The Geek Squad is awesome! Seriously. These warranties are super helpful, fairly priced, and Best Buy is very easy to deal with if you ever have an issue. To me, purchasing a protection plan is no a brainer given how complex some of these new electronics devices are.

Geek squad protection is usually pretty solid. I've never had an issue with them covering stuff unlike apple coverage.

It's unfortunate that manufactures just cant get simple tytech right... I'm talking about SONY.... Such a trusted name yet they constantly mess things up. I went through 2 soundbar's, 2 years in a row. You literally set it up and leave it there but somehow, They still stopped connecting or had main screen issues. Thank god for Geek Squad protection.

For high end electronic equipment like my new Sony 65” tv, 4K Blueray player and JBL Sound bar I buy the four year protection. When my tv was installed, it flashed red three times...not good. I felt great having geek squad pack it up, return it and then bring a new one. No hassle, no waiting for Sony approval...just get it done.

I am reviewing this as a suggestion from best buy the only tging i can say is the geek squad members are well trained and know their stuff

Best Buy has the best warranty when it comes to your devices or items not working. With their HASSLE FREE, NO QUESTIONS ASKED approach is awesome. They will replace the item, or provide a refund, so that you may purchase a new one.

My tv was mounted and connected to all my devices so easily with the professionals from the geek squad

Always great to have a warranty on the event something breaks and geek squad is always super helpful
