First of all the cost for the protection on such a high dollar item is more than fair, and I do not usually buy extended warranties. But secondly, if your 55 inch TV goes out do you really want to have to box and ship it for repair, or have a guy come to your house and fix, or REPLACE it, no questions asked? As I said, NO BRAINER.

I try and purchase geek squads extended warranty on all of my major purchases because its important to me and the value for peace of mind cant be beat they stand behind the product and have never let me down thank you best buy for protecting my purchases

I was given a Vizio 4k tv a few years ago. Shortly after I moved, two of the ports stopped working. I tried to get it repaired and no bueno. I bought a new TV and got this service. When a pixel went dead, they immediately replaced the display. GET IT. Sleep easy! AMAZING!

I am a firm believer in purchasing a protection plan or warranty on anything i pay a certain price for. With that being said if Best Buy offer it you should invest in it, even if its one year. You will regret it if you spent a nice amount on an item & you don't have coverage. Always cover your electronics & appliances.

I always purchase a warranty when buying electronics. Sometimes you can contact the manufacturer with the warranty’s, you don’t have to use geek squad.

It's better to have a protection plan better than you regret not to pay a protection plan.

I have utilized the geek squad products before and found them to be most cost effective, if needed. It is kind of like insurance, great if you need it but second guess if you don't. However, I have not purchased in the past many yeas ago an ended up replacing the product so it felt like I had paid twice as much, won't make that mistake again.

The wife doesn't think we need these extra warranties and support but things happen and I like having them. The products covered are normally good enough that the additional coverage will probably not be used but peace of mind is valuable to me.
