I've used the squad for computer repair needs in the past and because of their knowledge and expertise, that's the reason I maintain the Geek Squad Protection plan. Better to have and not needed than to not have and need. I don't mind paying $99.99 yearly for full coverage repairs than having to replace out of pocket.

I have made it a point to purchase the Geek Squad Protection on most of my high-end electronic purchase, especially with the LG SoundBar that I just purchased that integrated seamlessly with my new LG TV. The Geek Squad Protection plan has served me well on many occasions and I highly recommend it.

Best buy has the best extended warranty in the market bar none there in home service is very professional

The tech mounted my TV and installed a soundbar. Plus did in wall install for wires. They were on time, courteous, professional and knowledgeable and were protective gear (mask and shoe coverings and cleaned up afterwards. My in wall install was neat and precise. Definitely enjoyed Sean and John expertise

The receiver is a good investment for your sound at home

It doesn't matter what i buy, i always get the protection plan. If i need help i just call or chat on my app and i get help right away

I took the protection because I am technology challenged. I feel confident that if something goes wrong I can just take it in to the Geek Squad.

Great sound. Wonderful interface. Suddenly (5 months later) said “No Network” even though it was connected. Did a factory reset and the issue persisted until I connected a LAN cable. Ah well.

Great knowing I have some security rather than depending on the Manufacturer.

Would not purchase an electronic device without having Geek Squad coverage. Never know when the device is going to stop working and based on previously experience with Geek Squad service plans, no need to work if they stop working because I am covered.

Given the recent weather events, the increased frequency of power surges/outages, it seems that an extended/increased warranty is a good hedge against the unexpected to protect one's original investment. In addition, today's electronics are increasingly sensitive and susceptible to complete failure given the component modules that host not one but many circuits and functions. Thus, often many electronics are prohibitively expensive to fix. One lost function may not be 1 part, but rather a module for multiple functions/parameters. A little insurance goes a long way toward peace of mind.

I got the geek squad service in case something happens to the new one. I had a older piece that broke and I had No extended warranty. So I had to replace everything. This gives me a piece of mind for 4 years.

If you are going to buy high quality Stuff from Best Buy why not invest in some protection just in case you need it, don’t forget any things that is man made can break so if you get this protection it will save you money people believe me, been there and done that, be smart and purchase what best for the best

I don't know how I'm supposed to review something I've never needed to use yet, but hey, I get 25 points, lol. I'm sure this is a great, inexpensive plan to have just in case. If I ever need to take advantage of it, and ya never know - things happen, I'll update this "review".

I always purchase one of Best Buys extended warranties. They are always helpful on the phone when I need them. They are responsive and fast with service. My worry is always that a company is going to find some loophole to not honor an extended warrantly, but Best Buy always comes through.
