The 5 year geek squad protection is a must have as the big flat screen may have some issues in the fourth year or with my luck shortly after the fifth and we can't have that. I may have to extend it just in case.

Not much to say other than the price of the extended warranty was what I would call fair. It would be nice if this covered 3 years over the 2 year it comes with but I'll take it, especially over the price of the 5 year warranty!

You have to get the geek squad coverage are you crazy?

I'm finally writing a review for this tv. I had a thunderstorm about a few months after purchase and the quality of the tv hasn't been the same. I reached out to best buy to come fix my tv and just like most of you said, I had to contact Hisense to come out. because of the Manufacture first year warranty. Three tv specialist have been to my home and nothing has changed. The picture isn't sharp/clear at all anymore. I was told that I have to deal with this tv until after the one-year warranty is over. I couldn't believe I had to wait this long to enjoy my tv. Withing this timeframe I went back to best buy and brought another 85-inch tv which I'm happy with. I agree with one of you said, why did I pay for a 5-year warranty when it really a 4-year warranty? My one year is coming up, and I hope best buy can take care of their loyal customers. But I wouldn't recommend this tv for anyone. The worst tv I ever brought.

Great to know that for 5yrs I have nothing to worry about.

I bought 2 of these TV's for my bedrooms. I put one of them in my master bedroom to replace my 46 inch Samsung 3D TV that broke. Needless to say, it won't be staying!!! I much prefer the larger screen, however, for the other bedrooms in the house which are not as big, this 32 inch model, at this price point, is a good choice.

Haven't had to use this plan, but the peace of mind was worth it. My last tv, a Sony, was unrepairable after only 2 1/2 years with no protection plan.

Geek squad is a very good value. They are always prompt and courteous. Have had in home visits as well as taken things in to be serviced. Highly recommend.

No matter what I'm buying, whether i's a mouse or a television, I always get the geek squad protection plan. Every time I've needed to use it the team is helpful and friendly and ready to solve my problem. 10/10
