    I bought only the 2 year geek squad service. Hopefully the tv will outlast that, but I purchased due to the likely hood that any failure will probably be an early one and the squad will handle pixel or other failures after the 1 year HiSense warranty.

    We are really glad we invested in the coverage. Our LG tv developed an issue with the screen turning purple across the entire screen shortly after its warranty expired. When we looked online, it was very apparent that LG knew about this issue, and was not standing behind their products. Fortunately we had purchased the warranty so most of the cost of a replacement was covered. Was some confusion that 3 people in the store and management chain told us the entire purchase price would be applied when we purchased a more expensive replacement, but then the manager who rung the 2 tvs we were buying all the sudden the deal changed and we didn't get full credit. A little fishy, but we were still glad we had the warranty.

    I just got a 48" Lg B4 OLED TV. I decided to get the 5 year Geek Squad extended warranty, to just put my mind at ease. I thought that any repairs after the first year might be pretty expensive.

    A large purchase like our new tv was even better know that if a problem occurs Geek Squad will be there to take care of it for us. You can’t put a price on security and piece of mind.

    We recently bought a pc and cellphones. Best Buy has competitive pricing on products. We plan on getting an appliance in the near future and the 10% credit on this purchase can be forwarded to the appliance if we signed up for an in store card. I was uncomfortable this when it was necessary to provide my SS# and drivers license. Still hoping this all works out, we get the discount promised to us, and Best Buy data base doesn't get hacked.

    Sounds like I'm an add but after I started getting these warranties I realized how amazing they really were. If something doesn't charge right they fix it/trade it in for a newer item, if you drop it they fix it/get you a new and or better one, even if you plug it into the wrong power brick and fry the device like I did to my old 3ds they'll let you trade it in for the new 3ds. No matter if it's a 50$ alexa that gets knocked off the table by your cat or a 1500$ tv that jumps off the wall they'll help and get you back up and running.

    Great service to get had it with my phone allows u to keep the value under the warranty to atleast replace or get a newer item to use for just one payment worth using and keeping track of. Especially for my tv that have a hard time with constant gaming and family movie watching

    Answer all concern questions I was concerned of how I was gonna get the TV up and they informed me that they do that and it didn’t cost that much. I also gave when it came and did it thanks geek squad.

    With this worry free warranty, i have peace of mind about my product. If anything goes wrong they will fix it or replace it. And if your tv is larger than a specific size they will come to you.

    I'm now retired from Best Buy after working in the Magnolia Department for 13 years, & I'm a "True Believer" in the Geek Squad In-Home Protection for 5 years, on my mom's TV. Her TV is on at least 12 hours a day, & has Roku built in application, & it's 4K ready, so her TV features will be utilized a lot. She's also, bed ridden & her new TCL is her entertainment. If this set should break down (Doesn't cover physical damage), then all I have to do is call 1-8000-GEEK-SQUAD, & they'll come out to service it or replace it !

    My original purchase was on a ROKU tv, which i opted out of protection About 6 weeks later my BRAND NEW tv screen went all scrambled. i panicked being out of the 30 day return window. However when i called the store the gentleman gave me no hassle and allowed me to return TV. While there he talked me and my boyfriend in to buying a better bigger tv. he informed us of all the benifits that come along with the protection plan so we purchased that as well. so far have not had to use on the new TV but nice having peice of mind if anything goes wrong
