    I bought the Geek Squad service plan for my new Insignia 55" 4K Roku TV. Modern electronics don't seem to last as long as they used to (the TV that this one replaced was a Panasonic 32" that served me well for 15 years). Hope I won't have to use it, but I thought it was reasonable insurance.

    The family had geek squad help with 2 different installations. Definitely worth the money it cost to have professionals help with and install the technology correctly.

    I always get Geek Squad Service on my 4K TVs. I don't always use the extended warranty but I have several times. Worth the extra money for a piece of mind.

    Dont buy from best buy!!!! They used to be good my TV messed up and we called them cause they can be fickle on what they do and say. Ive returned tvs for store credit before to get another brand cause the one i had has issues. This time I asked about it and they said i would have to have it brought in then sent off for repair. Or someone come to my house ive had people steal from me before i do not let people in my house. I told them that I wanted to do a warranty and then was going to buy a more expensive tv. They told me that i could not do that then transfered me to a supervisor who said yes it would be ok let me get you to another department. That next department pretty much told us to send it in or nothing at all. So like normal fashion with best buy its up to if they feel like letting you do it or not. I just had swapped out a bad router for a better one and guy at register said yes you can do this. But about a month or 2 later they wont let me exchange my tv? It has panel issues I spend most of my time at home due to not being able to work cause of a back injury so if i have to send my tv back for repair i will have no way of watching tv. But its cool i wont be buying from best buy anymore and i have slowed down over the years buying from them i was an elite member spending over 7k a year with them but as i said no more.

    I had chosen to take it home and hook my tvs up myself, I ran into some small issues setting up and they made good recommendations to help.... all good now so far so good I'll update if I need service on either tv.....

    I purchased this protection plan when I purchased the new tv. It was inexpensive and well worth the price ! It is more comfortable for me to know that if any damage or repair issues with tv will be covered at least for the next 2 years.!

    I am pleased with this protection. I've used it to return defective products. Quick easy exchange and I get a price reduction if the price goes down. Quite a deal.

    A 5 year warranty is essential for 40"+ TVs

    A 5 year warranty is essential for tv models above $400. 1 or 2 problems, it will pay for itself. Don't have to mail it to the company, just take it to the closest Best Buy or have them work on it at your home, for large screen models. Wish they would refund half the cost of the warranty if there were no problems.

    The agent went thru several possibilities about the problem I was having with my Samsung TV and having sound on my TV. Was patient, professional and got the job done.

    Amazing quality! Screen is paper thin, which is scary, so you have to be extra careful when you move it.

    I haven't had to use the repair service, but I like having a little extra insurance while my TV is "new". In the past I had to have a TV replaced and was able to do so with this service. Highly recommend.
