I always try to get the extra protection because I’ve had to use it and having something fixed cost more now a days just for parts than having to buy a new one

I'm finally writing a review for this tv. I had a thunderstorm about a few months after purchase and the quality of the tv hasn't been the same. I reached out to best buy to come fix my tv and just like most of you said, I had to contact Hisense to come out. because of the Manufacture first year warranty. Three tv specialist have been to my home and nothing has changed. The picture isn't sharp/clear at all anymore. I was told that I have to deal with this tv until after the one-year warranty is over. I couldn't believe I had to wait this long to enjoy my tv. Withing this timeframe I went back to best buy and brought another 85-inch tv which I'm happy with. I agree with one of you said, why did I pay for a 5-year warranty when it really a 4-year warranty? My one year is coming up, and I hope best buy can take care of their loyal customers. But I wouldn't recommend this tv for anyone. The worst tv I ever brought.

I Normally do not buy protection plans for the items I buy but the price for this tv was very good so I went ahead and got it

I have purchased this in the past and they have always come through for me. I never buy a big priced item without a warranty.

Even though I have not had to use my Geek squad protection yet, I am very happy to have it "in case"! Any kind of repair/replacement would be a difficult extra expense right now, so it is nice to have this "safety net" to fall back on!

I thought this was a little pricey but for a big TV purchase this is a must! Not to take anything away from the Geek Squad but I hope I don’t have to use it;)

I have not had to use the protection yet but I would recommend it for anyone who has bought something from Best Buy.

Bought the 2year protection plan just to have extra peice of mind if something happens to my new Sony x930e tv and before it runs out will prob add another 2years

Always get the protection on any major purchase. Repairs get covered, and sometimes replacements get covered fully as well.

For big expensive electronics I say don’t be afraid to spend on warranty!

We bought this plan to protect our TV. You never know what it might happen. So far the TV is working great.
