Having called about a problem with new tv purchase and being told I would be charged for something not working that I purchased the 5 year extended warranty for. Was also told I would need to bring it in for repair. It's a 49 inch tv which is supposed to be covered for in home service. I had to contact support to get resolved. I'm giving a recommend, but with reservations.

The best piece of mind if any problem occurs. Service and repair cost are expensive. The small amount for a warranty is well worth it.

I havent had any issues with the tv other than the remote which has stopped working after 1.5 years or so. You cannot turn tv on without it- or at least I cant find a button on the tv. Or else there is an app you can use to control the tv but it has to be on to set this up.
