I recently filed an in-store claim for my Xbox controller on the 19th December 2020. The geek squad agents refused to issue me a replacement instead the told me they had to order me a new controller. The estimate completion date was the 24th December 2020. I received the replacement on the 29 December 2020. The controller I received was an incorrect model and it was a used/damaged controller. I called geek squad in regards to my issue. The agents hanged up on me five times, put me on hold six times transferred me seven times and after three hours of frustration on the phone I asked to speak to a supervisor I was put on hold for 45 minutes. After three hours 45 minutes of trying to get help or speak to a supervisor I finally gave up. Best Buy replaced my broken controller with a broken controller. Customer support is improperly trained and there is no accountability. The disrespect I had to endure dealing with GeekSquad was nerve recking. I would never recommend Best Buy protection plans to my worst enemy.

The additional warranty was not too pricey, just hope its worth it.

Better to have it and not needed than to needed and not have it.

I am very pleased buying the extra protection on my products.

I don't usually buy an extended warranty and don't remember why I did not his time except I believe it may have been for a freezer made, like everything else, in China, I have not had to use it yet, thankfully!

I haven’t had to use this yet but the geek squad is always responsive and quick!

I wouldn't dream of buying anything without this protection plan.
