the extended warrenty starts at time of purchase not ended factory... wasted money

Tv speakers are buzzing not happy with the tv. Now I have to take it down and get it fixed

Plan not worth it for tvs. Didnt cover my tv. When my screen goes black they say its damaged but thats not covered. Wtf!!!

Worst protection plan. This does not cover accidents so please read the fine print. This will cover what the normal manufacture warranty will cover. Best Buy could care less about the type of accident and even with Geek Squad Protection they will do nothing. Save your money DO NOT PAY FOR GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION!

This would have been a fantastic 5-year protection plan if customer service would only take my television back. They couldn't replicate the problem in the store so it became our problem, not theirs.

Where is my warranty I don't get it can you please help me with that

Very happy i got this coverage. Now adays things don't last very long.i always get it on any expensive item.

Its not worth it to get Insurance on a 43inc and up Tv because geek squad will tell u they cant take your tv they gotta have someone come out to your house and they won't exchange your tv

Its not worth buying any protection plans for apliances. When i bought the TV,I was told that the protection covered everything,including accidental falls,hits,anything in general. Turns out its just a way to get you to purchase something that wont cover anything. Complete disappointment

Don’t bother read the fine print, they cover only things that rarely break. Waste of $100

if you can, just purchase a 43in or better. The process for tv repair is cumbersome and even more arduous when your tv is less than 43in. Best Buy determined my tv cannot be repaired but I have to go to the store to get my store credit even though I may not be buying a new tv from this location. The only reason I would still recommend the protection plan is because it saved me from having to purchase a new tv out right.

I thought Geek Squad would help when LG TV died while under mfgr warranty, but they do not. Lot of time, effort and phone calls. Still wtg 2 months after t.v. died.

The agents seemed to rush, but had time to offer additional products. Their answers to questions were too techie. I won’t be renewing service.

Waiting for 4 weeks to get an apointment so 4 weeks with our a brandnew tv

I admit I have been roped in too many times with the geek squad warranty. It is just another selling point. Why pay the money for a warranty that doesn't even include the most basic of damages or accidents? Why pay ahead of time when it costs less or the same to fix something later if it does break? There really is no point in buying the warranty. On high end products they will never replace the product and always find some loophole to get you with.

The didn't replace a 2 month old TV that stopped working. Had to wait for 2 home visits that spanned a month for repair. Then the rescheduled My appointment without my knowledge.

Scam alert. Runs concurrent to the manufacturers warranty. Useless. Money down the toilet.

Please be sure you understand EVERYTHING that it does and doesn't cover. I've had several agents try to be vague on purpose.
